Need longer shorts with pockets for older women

Prevents annoying and painful chafing 😄 Material is smooth and soft and feels great on the skin, would purchase!

I received a medium, and I usually wear small, so when they arrived, I had that ugh moment, you know? But here's the thing: I tried them on anyway, and they actually fit… comfortably. Like, surprisingly comfortable. They're definitely not skin-tight, which, let's be honest, is a blessing at my age. They're a little bit looser than I'd normally go for, especially around the leg, but it's not a bad thing. It’s more of a relaxed fit, which is perfect for running errands or chasing after the kids at the park. I'm trying to, you know, maintain a semblance of fitness. Between carpooling, PTA, and keeping up with the kids, squeezing in a workout is a victory in itself. So, comfy activewear is a MUST. The material is really nice – it’s that stretchy, breathable fabric that doesn’t feel clingy or sweaty, even when I'm doing a high-intensity workout (which, let’s be real, is mostly just trying to keep up with my kids on their bikes). They’ve got a nice wide waistband that doesn’t dig in, which is a huge plus. No muffin top situation happening here! I was worried about them riding up since they are a bit bigger than expected, but they stay put pretty well. I’ve worn them for everything from yoga to a quick jog around the neighborhood, and I haven't had to constantly adjust them, which is a major win. The reason for 4/5 stars is that they do get stretched out and don’t retain their shape super well until I washed again.
