Great ride,great performance,great tire!

There is a reason I decided to purchase Michelin tires again for my SUV. The previous set of Michelins lasted over 104,000 miles and I couldn't have been happier with them. Despite having a little bit of tread life left on my previous tires, I decided since winter was coming I would go ahead and purchase a new set to ensure the safety of my family and I. I purchased the LTX M/S2's, and I am very pleased with these tires. I have plenty of experience driving in different conditions with the LTX M/S2 tire, including snow, rain, and ice....with NO complaints. I recognize the fact that these tires are a bit more expensive than others on the market, but there is a reason for that. They are simply higher quality, longer lasting, better performing, and safer. Had I went cheap when I bought my previous set of tires in 2007, I would have had to buy 2 sets of tires to last the 104,000 miles which my Michelins did. So I leave you with this, buying higher quality may be slightly more expensive in the beginning, but less expensive in the end, and will ensure your satisfaction with the tire every mile you drive in between. Thanks Michelin for giving me and my family peace of mind on the road everyday.

The Michelin Man rules! Best tires!

Many years ago, I bought a used SAAB 900, which came with Michelin tires. They were the best tires I have ever owned, until now. I just bought these tires for a Hybrid SUV. I have owned many different cars and many different brands of tires. I chose Michelin because of their reputation for quality, which is well deserved. I am so pleased with the purchase. The tires are very grippy in both dry and wet conditions, work well in snow, wear well, have a 70,000 mile warranty, smooth ride and have a low rolling resistance, which has had a big impact on increasing my mileage per gallon of fuel. However, the very best attribute these tires have, is how quiet they are. Most importantly, when my wife and I are driving around, with our two little kids in our vehicle, we feel safe. I have trust in Michelin, and I can't put a price value on that. Michelin is known for their attention to using the highest quality materials and manufacturing processes. These tires are better than the OEM tires which came with the vehicle. I wonder why Michelin does not provide more OEM tires for American cars? You will find tires which are cheaper than this, but you will lose out on quality by buying another brand. Once you drive on Michelin tires, you will never want to buy a different brand. Quality tires are so important for safety. I want to say thank you to the Michelin Man for providing such fantastic performing, quiet, durable and safe tires for me and my family.

This tire is smooth, quite and comfortab

My wife drives this suv for mostly intown use. These tires have been outstanding in every way so far. They are smooth, quite and comfortable and better than the original equipment, which were also Michlin. They perform very well in wet or dry weather look forward as to how well they do in the snow this winter. Great tire, buy them.

These tires were run in ...

These tires were run in excess of 80,000 highway miles. The tires were balanced every 6,000 miles and inflated with nitrogen. We routinely purchase Michelin for our truck fleet because of the road warrantee and excellent service provided by our tire store. I was particularly impressed with the tires because they were remarkably smooth, quiet and provide the feeling of total road control.

My second set of Michelin's

I inherited a car from Mom's Estate that had a set of Michelin Tires. She always bought Michelin's. When it came time to buy another set for my 2001 GMC Sierra, I looked at, and priced several "Well-Known" brands. Thinking about how much I liked the ride of the tires on Mom's car, it just made sense to spend an extra $400.00 for a better set of tires. I have absolutely NO regrets. The tires are quiet, and give excellent traction.

Fantastic preformance

Having towed the same heavy trailer for 480K miles, these are the best preformance tires for mileage, road/ride issues, and traction. Higher speed interstate driving, with sometimes more weight that is advised... This is the only tire manufacture that hangs together until the tread is gone. Oh, not quite correct, the OEM tires had no issues, but only lasted less than 30K miles. Negatives... These may cost more up front by a $10 ro $20 bill but when they last twice as long cost per mile is far less that what ever comes close. I've gone through other mfg's and one I had 14 tires replaced under road hazard, #14 did $3000 body damage to the box of the truck. They all went, replaced with LTX MS and never looked back. The big chain that was road hazarding the lesser brand asked me if I ever had Michelin, and if I had issues them. Yes I had them and never had a problem with them for roughly 70K miles. The guys comment was Michelin has very few ride issues and only build "best" tires, not good, better, and best. These LTX MS2 are not like the factory original "A/" series tires that folks around here do not like due to lack of traction. What I want for my winter selection is studable winter tires. When Michelin comes out with those I have a set of 4. When will they be out??

its the only one

We live in Salt Lake City so as everyone knows we have mountains and lots of snow, its the best tire we have put on our 2006 Durango awd. They climb the canyon paths and provive my family with excellent traction throughout the winter. Even my wife has stated that she is sure the truck even gets better fuel economy over the last set of tires.

I've been buying new ...

I've been buying new Michelin tires for most of my vehicles since 1980. Every set of Michelin tires installed on any of my vehicles, did show an immediate improvement in handling under all road conditions & better ride comfort. After many miles of use on all my vehicles, the Michelin tires always had the longest lasting treadlife of any other brand. That is why I've replaced the OEM tires on almost a dozen of my new vehicles with Michelin tires, within a very short period of time. I just recently bought New Michelin tires for my three trucks. Two were new with very low mileage and the third had less than 12,000 miles on it. I plan to put a set of new Michilin tires on my 2008 sportscar this spring, to replace the OEM tires which will have only about 2000 miles on them. Then another set of new Michelin tires for my lady's 2006 Ford Escape will be done shortly afterward. I'm thankful to Michelin for their tires, which are the best value, with improved safety while driving in any weather or road condition.

Highest quality tires I've ever purchase

I depend on Michelin tires performance for all 5 of my vehicles. You can not beat the quality performance. I have actually got more miles than recommended on my own personal vehicles tires and know I will be replacing them with a new set of Michelin's in the near future. The tread of the tire is what interested us to buy them in 2006 and now have them on all my 5 vehicles. Each tire I have purchased has yet to fail me in the weather (wet or dry) and feel best quality decision I have made for my family.

There rolling resistance ...

There rolling resistance is great, and the braking under wet conditions is much improved from the M/S. Love them so far after 18000 miles. Waiting to see the longevity, the M/S lasted 100,000 miles for me. These are supposed to be better, we will see.
