Wow, ride and MPG improvement!

I put four new LTX MS2 tires, in size 245/75 R16 on my '05 2wd 1500 5.3 V8 Chevrolet Suburban last summer. The improvement in ride and fuel economy was immediate. I am not lying, or exaggerating when I say, at 60 mph, on flat freeway with the cruise control on, A/C on, we average 27 mpg. Simple fact. Tested again and again, and again today. Onboard computer and calculated at the pump. Great tire. Highly recommended.

Best tire on the market

Hello I have purchased Michelin tires for years The last set got 86,000 miles with still tread left. The new ones on the truck makes the truck drive like a new truck. Judging by past experience with Michelin tires I expect to get at least 86,000 miles again. Thanks Buy only Michelin tires when your vehicle needs new shoes

Smooth ride, Tough tire

These tires are so wonderful... I have never in 12 years had a flat or dry rot problem! I am on my second set of Michelin ATX-MS2 in those 12 years! I don't have to buy new tires every two years anymore and I drive about 20,000 miles a year! They last me 6 years each set. Do the math... they are actually cheaper than other tires because of how long they last. They grip the road extremely well, my Tahoe is a 4x4 and I have never been stuck anywhere! Water, snow and ice are no match for this tire! I respond to emergency EMS calls in all kinds of weather and Michelin has never let me down!

Great overall tire!

If your thinking about buying these tires but hesitant because of the price don't be! I have had a few sets of the Michelin LTX M/S on various trucks/SUVs and got over 70,000 out of each set. Since the M/S2's are the newer version I thought I would try them. So far I like them better then the M/S's they replaced but only have 10,000 miles on them. They provide good traction on dry pavement, snow and rain. Can't comment on trail ability of these tires. They provide a very quiet ride and wear evenly. Gas mileage is good and didn't change any from the M/S's to the M/S2's. I have never had a flat with these tires. I liked the looks of the white lettering on the M/S's better but it wasn't a deal breaker. I will continue to buy these tires for my trucks/SUVs for years to coming.

I drove on these tires 105,000 miles

I drove 105,000 miles on these tires with my Ford F-150. It's tough coming up with the extra money that these tires cost over other brands. But, I know that I won't have to buy new tires for several years, that's how long it takes me to drive 105,000 miles. I always buy the Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement from my local tire dealer because that has paid for itself several times. I don't accept just the "prorated" warranty because that is still going to cost you money when you crush a tire. So, it's a big investment, but, after 105,000 miles, you'll be VERY happy because your cost per mile or cost per month will be lower than if you bought cheap tires.

Great Tire!

I drive a 2001 Ford Excursion which, I am told, is the LARGEST mass produced civilian vehicle ever made available on the open market. I purchased a complete set of four new LTX M/S2 tires and IMMEDIATELY noticed a significant difference in my vehicle's handling - especially on wet surfaces. My wife and I have four children, and we have never felt safer traveling in my truck.

Michelin Tires @ 20,000 Miles

About 15 months ago I needed new tires for my 2006 Silverado. I had never owned Michelin tires before, and wanted to buy a set of premium tires, so I ecied to try the LTX M/S2 tires, as they had decent reviews. I now have a little over 20,000 miles on them, and they have worn very well. I've tried to have them rotated when they shoul be, and can say that all four look and wear the same. The tires ride good, hold the road really well in the rain, and are good in snow as well. They have been a worth while investment, and I expect to get many more miles from them.

3years + and 65,000 miles

I purchased 4 tires 3 1/2 years ago, before going on a long distance trip. We have driven 65,000 miles in a Tahoe that pulls trailers, travels dirt roads and hauls kids! The tires still have great tread wear and I expect to get the full 80,000 mile use out of them! I do rotate my tires as recommended by my tire professional, so I feel as though that has added to the life of the tires. I have recently purchased a second vehicle and plan to put Michelin tires on that as well!

Best Wearing LT Tire

I now exclusively run LT 235/80 R17 Michelin LTX-MS2 tires on my 2005 Ram 3500 4X4 dually. This truck is used to haul new RV's from manufacturer to dealer all over North America, to the tune of 150,000 miles per year. I have used 31 sets (pairs) of tires totalling one and a quarter million miles. Six different brands of tires in the mix. I can achieve 100,000 miles of wear on the Michelins, more than twice what I ever made on any other brand. My Michelins have not failed me at any time. The LTX-MS2 offers confident traction in the typical mix of road conditions encountered through the seasons from northern Indiana to western Canada. I have NO COMPLAINTS. These are simply THE BEST tire. A word about Green X; Understanding rolling resistance and potential fuel savings through tire technology may require scientific analysis few of us can manage. So simply considered, IF Michelin Green X, low rolling resistence tires succeed in gaining me just one tenth of a mile per gallon, then over the life of these tires, my fuel savings equate to, at minimum, the difference in cost from the least expensive tire in this range.
