Best Tire on the market.

I have these tires on my 2004 Suburban and 1995 Explorer and they are the best tires ever. Quiet on the highway, excellent in snow, rain, mud, my explorers tires have around 50,000 miles and as long as you rotate them they look brand new, excellent I love them, my Suburbans only have about 3,000 miles on them and are filled with Nytrogen and its unbelievable the difference it makes. If you can have your filled this way the ride is awesome, handling and maneuvering this big vehicle is super easy with these tires.

Drive a lot.

We drive about 1200 miles round trip several times a year and we replaced our noisy tires with Michelin tires. Our rides are much more pleasant now. The ride is smoother and quieter. They are more expensive than other brands, but I think they are worth it.

The LTX M/S2 is a veer ...

The LTX M/S2 is a veer responsive tire. It handles well in various conditions. Living in the mountains can prove challenging as the weather conditions can change at a moments notice. Snow, rain, sleet, mud all in a single day. I would not be caught dead without my Michelin's.

Tried the rest and now have the best!

We have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 and I just had the LTX M/S2 tires installed about 5K miles ago. What a huge difference in ride, noise and handling over the OEM and first set of replacement tires. As soon as I drove out of the installers lot I knew that I had made the correct choice. First thing I noticed was how quiet these tires were, the Jeep had never been quieter inside. As I drove down the road I noticed how much smoother the ride was, I had been planning on taking the Jeep in for service because of a strange vibration, it was now completely gone. We spent the next weekend up in the mountains and got to drive on the twisty mountain roads, these tires made the Jeep feel and handle better than it ever did. It cornered without drama, it just went smoothly around the corners. The event that completely convinced me that these are the only tires I'm ever using on the Jeep again happened on our way home from the mountains; we were driving down the freeway and ran into a torrential downpour, there was at least 3-4 inches of standing water on the road and most vehicles were driving very slowly or pulled over, not us. These tires cleared the water and we drove on completely safe and secure, never slipped, just went down the road straight and true.

LTX M/S2 Disappointment

I have used the LTX M/S tires on my trucks for years. They were great in the Ohio snow and the rain as well. I recently purchased an 09 Silverado 1500 that came to me with tires that weren't Michelin. and those tires were horrible. Visited a local Michelin Dealer to obtain LTX M/S for this truck as I've been very pleased with them in the past. I was informed the LTX M/S is no longer available, that I would have to go with the LTX M/S 2. I went ahead and ordered the LTX M/S 2 and had them installed recently. Haven't yet had the experience of driving them in the snow, though I have little doubt they will be fine. Driven in rain and have the usual confidence I've experienced with the previous LTX M/S. The problem is as follows; I can't drive one mile on any road without hearing a stone strike the underside of my truck. Today is the 5th of August. It's not as though there are snow plows depositing stones on the road as they plow the shoulder. The tires I purchased are P265/65R18 112T, LTX M/S2 BW. I don't know if this is an issue related to only the size I purchased or if it's across the board. What I do know is I can't afford to purchase another brand tire this soon to alleviate the stone issue, so I guess I just turn up the radio and drive on. I will pose a question to the Customer Care Team; Why did you mothball the LTX M/S?

Michelin has been my best tire purchase!

My new set of Michelin Tires on my Ford Explorer 4x4 have provided a noticeable improvement in overall ride comfort. Smooth and quiet with excellent handling characteristics in all aspects of driving in any weather condition. The tire is firm in cornering and braking yet provides a soft comfortable ride on and off road. There is a difference in using a quality tire and I will continue to use only Michelin Tires on my vehicle in the future.

I could not beleive the difference between the other various brands compared to Michelin....It as though the wheels are not touching the roadway....they are smooth, road gripping, quiet and soft riding, without compromising me amd my falilies saftey. The Michelin tires give me all the control and traction and condidence I need when driving.... Sincerely, Victor Binghi

A great tire

This is my second set of Michelin tires, and my first seemed to last forever. I am very pleased with my recent Michelins so far. I bought them so I would have a good tire for winter and the salesman recommended these. Although, I did slip on a hill when the pavement was wet, so I'm kind of concerned about that with winter just around the corner. I hope they stand up.

Expensive but worth every penny

I have been a Michelin customer for many years now and believe me it is not because they are reasonably priced it is simply because they make the best tires on the road period. These tires wear longest ride comfortably and look good combine that with good wet road performance and good stopping power and I really don't know what more you could ask for in a tire. Every time you drive down the road your life is subject to many things but the quality of your tires is one of the most important. Don't trust your lives to the cheapest tires out there buy the best. Go Michelin you will not be disappointed.

Michelin LTX M/S2 great on our '05 Burb

I put a new set of these tires on my '05 Suburban last year, June 2012, in size 245/75/R16. They are wonderful! Great snow traction, great off-road traction, comfort and especially fuel economy. Our Surburban is a C1500 half ton, two wheel drive, 5.3 Vortec, and I can honestly print that it regularly achieves OVER 24 mpg driving 65 mph on I-15 between Springville and Centerville, passengers on board, A/C on. The fuel economy improved drastically with these tires. True story. If I set the cruise at 60mph, it will always achieve over 25 mpg on that same drive. 27.5 mpg best to date. All original suburban with 130,000 miles - no aftermarket upgrades.
