MICHELIN LTX M/S2 (SIMPLY THE BEST)...

This is my second set of Michelin LTX M/S tires. I did not exceed the mileage with the first set but after 8 years it was time to replace them due to age. These tires are amazing and there is simply no other choice for my '02 F250 PS SD. Smooth, good grip in all weather conditions and durable/even tire wear. I had friends suggest cheaper tires but you get what you pay for and with the Michelin LTX M/S2s, you get it all.

I have used other tires ...

I have used other tires in my life, but i found that michelin tires are by far the best tire out there.I am an ASE Master Tech with over 30 years of experience and i have seen all types and brands of tires and michelin tire has the least amount of vibration and the best tread wear compaired to other brands. The tire also doesn't dry rot over time. Thanks

great tires for towing

I have the LTX MS2 truck tires on my Yukon. I tow a camper and find that these tires both wear well and grip the road well. They make the truck feel very stable when towing. I have had this set on my truck for almost 3 1/2 years putting about 30k miles on them. I had a coworker remark last week (when I told them how long I had them on the truck) he thought I had just put them on because they still look new. When this set wears out I will no doubt replace them with a like set. I also have a set on my Buick Rendezvous. They have been on that vehicle for almost 5 years. I will soon replace them with another set of Michelins. I am definitely a Michelin or nothing car owner.

These tires are top of the line!

I put these new tires on my 08 Honda Element and instantly felt they enhanced my driving in the mountains. Despite rain or shine, snow or ice, i feel confident driving my vehicle in switchbacks of the Rocky Mountains. They raise my vehicle up a bit higher than the factory tires which is also nice. I would buy them again and recommend them to anyone looking for an suv tire that will last and handle all conditions well. My wife and I take many road trips across the midwest and these tires have met all our expectations in different conditions.

No Better Tire

After much research as to what would be the best tire I decided on these and couldnt be happier. I will continue to purchase these tires. These are the nicest and quietest riding tires i've ever felt. They have excellent grip and the in the rain they are incredible and instill a lot of confidence in those very hard rainy conditions. I will always put Michelin tires on everything I own.

I drove on these tires 105,000 miles

I drove 105,000 miles on these tires with my Ford F-150. It's tough coming up with the extra money that these tires cost over other brands. But, I know that I won't have to buy new tires for several years, that's how long it takes me to drive 105,000 miles. I always buy the Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement from my local tire dealer because that has paid for itself several times. I don't accept just the "prorated" warranty because that is still going to cost you money when you crush a tire. So, it's a big investment, but, after 105,000 miles, you'll be VERY happy because your cost per mile or cost per month will be lower than if you bought cheap tires.

Dissatisfied with tire performance

I used this product for average driving approximately 12,000 miles per year. Balance and ride of tire is very good. Tires are less than 3 years old already dry rotting and tread wear is over half wore out at 30,000 miles. I have used Michelin tires for over 35 years and this is the worse set of Michelin tires I have ever owned. I have a set of M/S on my family vehicle that has 45,000 miles on them and are still very good tires and I am well satisfied with them.

Great Preformance

This tire is amazing so quiet on road and off road holds its own plus some. It has a nice look on my yukon. Should have been the OEM tire. Rain and wet condition driving I immediately noticed that it took less room to stop vehicle. Thank You for a great tire MICHELIN LTX M/S2

Not that impressed

So far I have about 5,000 on this set of tires. I have them on a jeep and let the guys at the tire store convince me they had all the traction I needed. They would be correct if you never drive off pavement. We had an ice storm and the tires gripped better than any I have ever had. Wet pavement seems to be great as well. So the down side; I keep very good records and did not see an improvement in MPG. The bigger issue for me was that the tires are nearly worthless off pavement. I almost got stuck on wet grass. The old set of Open Country tires had no issues on the same field with 80,000 miles of wear. My impression, if you only are on pavement they are a great tire, just don't push it in snow, mud, or even wet grass.

Smooth ride

These are the smoothest running 'rugged' tires I've ever had on a truck! They also do an excellent job when I'm pulling my 32' travel trailer. Will definitely buy these again when the time comes... which will be awhile b/c they are a 70,000 mile tire!!
