Excellent Tires

This is the third set of Michelin LTX M/S2 tires that I have purchased. I have two suburbans and these tires are excellent performers in all kinds of weather. I have never gotten stuck using these tires and I end up pulling others out of the snow. They provide a quiet and smooth ride on the interstate and they do a nice job of gripping the pavement. I would definitely recommend these tires.

Michelin Can't Be Beat

I have been a Michelin customer since the late 1960's. I have always replaced OEM tires with Michelin so I do have some experience on comparing performance. My latest Michelin's, the LTX M/S2, are on a F-150. They gave me a slight improvement on highway mpg and have great wet traction. I have yet to have the truch fishtail. One reason I stick with Michelin is that they last. These tires have around 30,000 miles and still have more than half the tread left. Our car has the MXV4 and they perform equally as well. I always feel safe riding on Michelin's.

Overachiever!!

After my first few years of driving, I purchased my first set of MICHELINS. Although the ride and longevity impressed me, I did succumb to competitors on two occasions. Price was a factor. For my last several vehicles, I've stuck with a company that, to me, has proven engineering excellence and loyalty to improvement. When I'm on the highway with my family of 7, in rain snow or ice, the last thing on my mind are my LTX MS/2. And for that, while you are competively priced, money is No object. I thank you for being the overachiever in your industry! Bringing me peace of mind!!! Jerry Stephens

Great Tires!!!

I have been a Michelin guy since I have lived in the Dakotas. These tires are the stickiest on ice. So when I moved to California I never look at any other brand. They are quiet, sticky ,give you a comfortable ride and can't wear them out! I have the LTX M/S2 for my Lexus RX 300 and Pilot Super Sport for my C55 AMG and Cayman. These tires are just the best for your buck!

Want the best, get the Michelin LTX2

This is my second set of the LTX M/S, but this time I went with the LTX M/S2. Smooth ride, rugged, go anywhere, tackle any terrain. I can use any surface or no surface at all when I am using the back roads of Virginia (some of these roads really would not be considered back roads) but the ride, and the performance from the LTX M/S2 are fantastic. I would give this product, 5 STARS

The LTX MS2 is a ...

The LTX MS2 is a fantastic tire. My mileage increased by 1 - 1.5 miles per gallon. I put these tires on a Ford Expedition and they handle great. Hardly any road noise and excellent wet weather traction (it rains 9 months out of the year here). They have a nice agressive tread pattern, but quiet. These tires are awesome.

No Better Tire

After much research as to what would be the best tire I decided on these and couldnt be happier. I will continue to purchase these tires. These are the nicest and quietest riding tires i've ever felt. They have excellent grip and the in the rain they are incredible and instill a lot of confidence in those very hard rainy conditions. I will always put Michelin tires on everything I own.

Replacement Tires

Bought these tires to replace a set of Michelin Latitudes that were dry rotting that only had 52k on them. We purchase Michelin for all of our cars and we expect the best from them, these LTX's are no difference. The LTX's are quite and feel awesome!

A new improvement on a classic Michelin

I got 50,000 miles on my old Michelin LTX M/S tires and loved the ride and durability of the tires. When one of them got an unrepairable hole I decided to get four new ones as the exact model had been discontinued. My new LTX MS2 tires are similar and give a great ride with excellent handling and comfort for myself and family. I attribute a lot of my RX300's longevity to these tires. My father once told me that my car would never be better than the rubber I put on it. My decision to put these Michelins on for the first 50000 miles only made it easier to decide what to put on for the next 50000 miles! Thank you Michelin for making the safest and most comfortable tires for my SUV.

Not that impressed

So far I have about 5,000 on this set of tires. I have them on a jeep and let the guys at the tire store convince me they had all the traction I needed. They would be correct if you never drive off pavement. We had an ice storm and the tires gripped better than any I have ever had. Wet pavement seems to be great as well. So the down side; I keep very good records and did not see an improvement in MPG. The bigger issue for me was that the tires are nearly worthless off pavement. I almost got stuck on wet grass. The old set of Open Country tires had no issues on the same field with 80,000 miles of wear. My impression, if you only are on pavement they are a great tire, just don't push it in snow, mud, or even wet grass.
