BFG all the Way!!!!

I put a set of All Terrain T/A KO2's on my 2013 Chevy Avalanche LTZ a little over 3 years ago. I know the tread warranty says, “50,000 miles”, but if you maintain alignment and rotation (5,000 miles), you can get a lot more than this. I know, because I currently have 62,000 miles on my set and still have about another 1,000 more I change these out. They are a great tire for mud, snow and just highway. I not only drive my truck to work, but I also hunt and fish in it. An example of this was last year and it snowed 12” and I went hunting in it. The roads that I traveled to my hunting spot isn't state maintained roads, and didn't get plowed. I never had an issue getting to or returning from my hunting spots. My last comment that I have is, “if you buy a set, you'll be hooked for life”. I know this, because I have owned BFG's for the last 15 years.

BF All-Terrian's

This is my second set of the ALL-Terrains these by far have outlasted any other all-terrian tire I have ever purchased. These KO2's are extremely quiet on the Highway and really grab offroad. I have never gotten less than 55,000 miles of any set of BF's in the all-terrians. I highly recommend these tires over pretty much anything on the market! They really hold up and are extremely tough and reliable.

amazing in snow and off road

I have had 2 sets of these on my F150 raptor, live in Lake Tahoe and they are amazing. I take them through the snow, mud, sand down in the Reno desert and they do it all. Putting a set on my Expedition. I got more then 50K miles out of each set. Unreal performance.

Great looking tires when new, wore out at 25,000 miles

I have had the BFG A/T on my trucks for years, probably the last 10 years! This new KO2 tires look awesome! BUT..... I ditched the stock tires on my 2015 Denali HD and went with the new KO2, 25,000 miles later and they are wore out. Very little towing, no off road action and rotated every other oil change. The dilemma now is do I buy a new set of KO2 that will only last 25-30,000 or break my streak and go with something else?

EXCELLENT TIRES!!!!!!

I had the KO2's put on in November of 2014 on my Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71and they are the best tire I have ever had! The track fantastic in the mud and snow. I have only had to put my truck into 4 wheel drive a couple of times all winter compared to last winter where i was in 4 wheel drive with more expensive tires pretty much all the time. If you need new tires I recommend putting these on your vehicle. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent Tire IMO - Just passed 100k miles on same set

I bought a 2012 F-150 XLT 4x4 just over 4 years ago on 1/26/19 with 53k miles on the truck. Two days after buying the truck I had the dealer install a small leveling kit and this tire in 35x12.50R18. Today my truck is just over 153k miles and I still have the same set of T/A KO2s on it. Now they are pretty worn, so going to get a new set this week when I take the truck in for routine servicing. Excellent tires from my experience. I didnt expect to get 100k miles from them as I have never experienced that with any other tires on previous vehicles.

Trusted and Fantastic Tires!

These tires are fantastic! I've had them on my 4runner, and they have lasted! I just had to replace all 4 yesterday, and replaced them with same ones because we trust them very much. I've had several nails, screws, and all been patched up and the tire never gave out after repairs. Trusted brand.

Outstanding Performance

The T/A KO2 is an exceptionally strong performing tire on a 2015 CCSB Silverado1500 that has a FabTech 6" lift with heavy coilovers, UCAs and professionally arched Springs. I run 305/65/R18, so I have zero clearance issues. I demand serious duty from my truck and tires. Driving 25-50 miles of poorly maintained gravel roads daily and then taking it cross country quarterly. These tires ride smoothly and quietly on the highway. When pressured up a bit they pull a loaded car hauler through the Rockies without complaint. I am impressed with their mud and snow performance most of all. They are the surest footed tire I have driven on wet/icy roads. In deep snow they bite when others would not. I depend on this truck to get me to work in adverse conditions. These tires have greatly contributed to its success. The only complaint I can muster is that my first set lasted just over twenty six thousand miles before they seemed a little too thin to keep as the snow began to fly this year. However, BFG was very good to me and made an accomidation that made it quite easy for me to decide to buy into another set. While awaiting the arrival of my new tires, my dealer put on a "demo" set of tires from a competitor (a shoe with a wing) they were loud and sloppy by comparison. It really reinforced to me how important a superior set of tires are to a hard use vehicle. I doubt I will ever run any other tire on this truck. I wholeheartedly reccomend this tire to anyone that demands a lot from their machinery. Yes, the T/A KO2 is that good

More quiet than anticipated

I like the tire's ride and performance, although I've only experienced dry pavement and gravel so far. Even at greater inflation than my previous tires, they have a comfortable, slightly cushioned feel that dampens pavement irregularities I used to feel. They are also quieter than I expected. I'm entirely pleased so far - waiting for the snow to fall. They also seem to shed gravel pretty well before I reach pavement unlike my previous tires.

I really don't understand why so many dislike them

Bought them last fall for my overlanding rig, ran them hard for over a year now & put ~20,000 miles on them. I will likely re-buy another set in 285/70R17 (C-rated) once tread runs out on the current set. Overall very happy and confused why a lot of people in the community keep thrashing this tire ... the below is fully based on my own experiences, I do not claim to be an off-road expert nor did I have a lot of comparisons with other truck tires. I paid for my tires. PROs: + Ability off-road ... I have been throwing rock gardens/shelves, deep sand, muddy forest roads, desert roads, deep snow at these tires and never had any traction issues off-road. If other tires are even better I haven't been in a situation (yet) where that would've mattered ... the areas where I feel they excelled at (even vs. other off-roaders I met on the trails) were: (1) deep snow and (2) deep sand - others got stuck and we didn't + Quiet on the highway, light, didn't affect fuel consumption much (~1 mpg) when I switched from the stock tires in 255/75R16 to 265/70R17 KOs (they are the lightest tire in this class ... which is noticeable in terms of performance, breaking, MPGs) + Even wear & durable: 20,000 miles, rotation every 5,000 miles, balancing after 15,000 miles - still enough tread for another 20-30k + Looks: Subjective but I like them over a lot of other A/T tires CONs: - Tendency to hydroplane in wet conditions - scary, but manageable - Traction on packed snow or ice is not great - didn't run into these conditions off-road but on regular streets in the winter I got into some sketchy situations - They wander a bit when changing lanes at higher speeds (>75mph) ... but that's to be expected when getting C-rated tire on a ~6,000lbs rig (fully loaded) Some other thoughts: > C-rated over E-rated tire all day ... been pushing them aired down on sharp rocks and haven't had any flats or cracks in the tire > the weight does matter ... especially on our somewhat underpowered Tacomas (even with re-gear) ... it's nice to have a bit of extra punch vs. some other A/T tires that are 20% heavier > In dry / sandy states these tires are really hard to beat. In some rainier / wetter states like Washington there are other tires that perform better in wet conditions ... but so far not enough to change my mind ;)
