[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I was a bit skeptical after I opened the package. It looked like it was going to be noisy. I washed & dried it and it still looked new. Then I put it on the bed and hoped for the best. It is very quiet - no crinkle noises at all. But best of all - it actually cools. I have no idea how it works but it keeps our bed cooler than any other mattress pad we've tried. Would definitely buy again!
