She says the 12 pounds is just about the right weight without it being overbearing, but it has definitely helped her maintain a complete nights rest and feeling rejuvenated the next day. She no longer wakes up a bunch or tosses and turns all night, plus this blanket is super soft I’m sure anyone would love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the soft plushy side, and then it has the quilted side on the other. The weight is perfect for an adult or large/older child. I got this for myself after struggling with sleep, I've found that this blanket has helped tremendously. Its soft, not to heavy, and actually works well with my very light comforter. Its about a throw or twin size approximately so it works for me so it doesn't actually bother anyone else in the bed.

I have insomnia, at least I find myself waking up through the night. With one night of using the blanket, I slept through the night and awoke rested and ready to start the day. The price was right too. It is recommend by the experts that the blanket be around 10% of your body weight. Im not a small women but found that 12 pounds was adequate for me. it is a small blanket but I wouldnt want much bigger; you will need 2 though....a his and hers!

It's been a number of years since they first arrived on the scene, but you can tell there have definitely been improvements. This blanket has a suede-like 'warm' side and a more sheer 'cooler' side. The glass beads inside are ordered well to provide an even weight across the blanket. I like to use these when I'm curled up in my chair in the evening. It soothes me and calms me down nicely. After a bit of reading, I'm cozily ready for bed. I haven't tried sleeping with it as it's summer and I can only deal with minimal coverings. Would think it would work well without being too warm for sleeping as well. My kids also really enjoy using it on the couch. I may have to buy more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the weighted blanket a little over a week ago and I love it. I use it on top of my top sheet, but under my comforter. It’s only large enough for one person to use. I’m 5’5” and it covers me from shoulders past the toes. I was at first concerned about it being hot, but I haven’t experienced any issues with being too warm while using it. The blanket helps with my sleep and just overall makes me feel more comfortable. The weights have a calming affect. The color is a nice dark grey which matches my sheets. When I make my bed, you can’t even tell that it’s under the comforter. The only issue I’ve experienced is that one of the threads is starting to come loose. I also don’t think it can be washed. Other than that, this is a fantastic blanket.

It just felt like a dog was laying on top of me all over. It was a work out to fold when I was done. The blanket has a bunch of little pockets with the weight beads or whatever in them. I guess it did it's job, but it is just not for me. Well made though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this blanket to have a more restful sleep. The older you get, the more trouble there is sleeping through the night. This Tranquility Weighted Blanket helps me get that more restful sleep by applying deep, calming pressure. When I use it, I sleep longer. It is a bit warm for the summertime and I look forward to using it more through the other Wisconsin seasons. I’m only 120 pounds so this blanket is heavy. It does however feel comfortable and I feel relaxed sleeping under it. The fabric is soft and cozy. It does say “spot clean only” so I’m going to make a duvet for it to keep it clean. Good product to get a restful night!

The Tranquility 12 lb blanket feels really good on my legs and is warm also, it takes a few times to get use to it but, the weight on my legs seems to calm down the Restless Leg. Great product.

The blanket is comfortable. Gotten some pretty decent sleep lately. Also used this around my shoulders because this is area I am most tense.
