Have had these tires for two months. Had to inflate 2 lbs over to ride well. Loved them except they won't hold air pressure. Would lose 3-5 lbs every two weeks in all weather conditions. If I put 34 lbs in each all would be 29 in a couple weeks. All four tires had this issue so it isn't a wheel problem. Strangest thing Ive experienced with any tires. Dealer is replacing them next week with another Michelin tire.

Had these tires for 10 months and they cannot hold the road at highway speeds. This is very noticeable on curves when driving over 80 km/h and also when braking at high speeds! There could be technical or design reasons but I think this is a lower quality tire than the previous two sets of Michelin tires I used. I ended up with the Defender T+H because the Michelin Pilot MXM4 was retired and the Defender supposedly replaced it. Sadly, it didn't measure up.

I purchased set of four Defender T+H A-S tires 3 years ago at my Mercury dealership. I get tires rotated (front-to-rear/same side) annually. Since I only drive about 5,000 miles per year on my 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis car, these Michelin tires will last me a long time past the 6-years factory warranty. I get all four tires balanced every 2 years, and keep my tire pressure set at 37psi on all four tires filled with NITROGEN. I do 60% local driving and 40% high-speed turnpike driving and these great Michelin Defender T+H tires have never let me down. Matter-of-fact, I have only purchased Michelin tires since owning my 1989 Ford Crown Victoria S/Wgn. Michelin wrote the book for radial tires; therefore you can't go wrong buying them. This is the 2nd set of Michelin tires on my 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis having slightly less than 70,000 miles on the vehicle.

I bought my set of tires in March and the main reason I buy Michelin tires is because I have found that they are the safest tires to drive on front wheel and all wheel drive cars in rain when there is a lot of standing water on highway. Prevents hydroplaning. Have bought several sets of Michelin tires, never had any issues with them.

Just had a set of four put on my 2018 Malibu and they feel great going down the road. I was a little hesitant to buy these because of the few reviews about noise. “NOT true”. I was very relieved to find the tires are very quiet. Especially compared to the original stock tires I had on the car. I would bet that the negative reviews about noise is a result of incorrect installation of the tires. Yep. These tires are designed with an inner & outside. Meaning the tires “have to” be installed on the rim with the side wall of the tire that has a print “INSIDE” towards the car. I made sure to remind the mechanic of this and double check before installing the sets onto the car. I also underlined the print INSIDE with white-out marker. Do this and you'll be as happy as I was.

I bought these tires a year ago. What a difference. They feel solid on the road, grip the highway and hug the turns. They are great in the snow and on ice, they are all season.I have never gotten stuck with them and I only have front wheel drive. I have had Michelins before. I would definitely recommend this tires. I have 2006 Toyota Sienna purchased new; it has been a wonderful vehicle. Like many others, I consider safety above all other factors, which is why I have purchased these tires a number of times. However I have been disappointed with the durability of this tire. This will be the third set of Michelin Defender tires I have purchased for this vehicle. The first two sets have failed by a huge margin to meet expectation concerning durability. My wife religiously takes the time to have rotations done. The vehicle has been checked for proper alignment. No matter. Withing 30,000 miles we have been recommended twice to replace the tires due to uneven wear. Even with the pro-rated amount included in the price of a new set it has become more expensive than I think is fair. I was talked in to this last set by my wife because she believes your television commercials. The tire salesman said the compound was a new formula in making these tires and that they should last longer than the others. This does not increase my confidence in the brand. There are many tire manufacturers out there.

We've had these for 20,000 miles, and the loss of tread is surprising, sort of amazing. No longer suitable for next winter when it snows 2 inches. Otherwise, a good all-round tire. Great gas mileage, good handling, not too noisy, stops well. Would like the same tire, but getting 40,000 miles out of them for all four seasons.

I have also had Michelin X-ICE tires and based on their performance and ratings of Defender T + H, I wanted to try this tire. I have had them just over a month but I am happy with their performance (quiet, nice ride). I am expecting they will be the best of four types of all season tires I have used in the last 12 years.
