Difficult

I have had this vacuum for a year. I do not like it. While vacuuming, you have to lean it against a wall because it can't stand up on its own if you want to leave it for a few seconds. Cleaning the dust catcher causes so much dust, my allergies kick in. Dust does not shake out easily. You have to use a cloth to get all of the lint and dust out. The dust container does not hold much and has to be emptied often. I don't feel like it is all that light weight and it does not feel self propelled.

Works well as a vacuum, but the design is terrible

I've had this vacuum for a little over two years now. It works fine as a vacuum. I like how you can basically get the entire thing parallel to the floor so you can vacuum under furniture. It also picks up well along the sides so it's easy to pick up dirt/hair along the baseboards and whatnot. I've used this vacuum in two different residences, neither of which had much carpet, but it's a very good vacuum for hard floors. Does decent enough on carpet and rugs. HOWEVER, there are so many drawbacks that negate how well it vacuums. It doesn't stand by itself. You can remove the top part and put on the storage hook toward the bottom of the vacuum, and then it will stand that way. I just lean it against the wall. Annoying, but not the end of the world. Secondly, it's HEAVY. If you have weak arm strength, carpel tunnel, arthritis, or anything like that, this is not the vacuum for you. I have to push the vacuum with two hands in order to reduce some of the arm fatigue. It's fine if you only need to vacuum one room, but doing the entire house at once will be very hard. Thirdly, the motor is at the top, so the whole time you're vacuuming, it's blowing hot air exhaust right into your chest/face. The heaviness of the vacuum and its hot air blowing makes you feel hot while vacuuming. All these "eccentricities" make me wonder if Shark actually uses the vacuums they produce before they sell them. All of these drawbacks are immediately apparent at first use, they don't take years to discover.

Sharks are good This model is Terrible

I usually have success with Shark Vacuums. This model however must be made with cheap parts. I actually purchased two and both broke within months. I purchase one vacuum and one day it just stopped working. I could not find the receipt so I bought another and was going to return the first one. The second broke before I could return it. The 2nd one only works are the low speed. I have no clue why. Do not buy this model.

very disappointed!!

I had a Shark Rocket before and loved it!! Do not care for this new one (Zero M Self Cleaning Brushroll). First thing is it doesn't pick up along baseboard unless you unhook and use the clevis tool. It makes several lines when you vacuum instead of just where the vacuum goes. It is hard to push! I'm looking for another one like my former one!

This is a definite winner!

This vacuum is everything I wanted and more! It's lightweight which makes it easy to manuver. I can't say enough about the Zero M brush roll!! Phenomenal! I have 20 inch long hair with 3 cats and after 6 months of daily use I haven't had to cut a single hair from the roller! That in itself makes this unit worth every penny! The suction... Out of this world!!! It takes up very little space. You can purchase a clip for wall storage or store it on the attached clip on the wand. Cord is quite long so a lot can be accomplished before repositioning somewhere else. I love that it can go from floor to overhead in seconds, convert to a handvac, and back to floors in a flash! Two brush roll speeds let you move from hard floors and area rugs to higher pile carpet with the flip of a switch. The fact that this unit features washable filters is just icing on the cake! I love this vacuum and wouldn't trade it for any other vacuum! I am and will forever be a Shark owner!!
