We have all types of floors...this has 3 settings to run on bare floor, light carper or heavy carpet and cleans like a champ! Note: It will take a few times sweeping to get what's been left behind from other sweepers!

Great buy! Lightweight and convenient. Worked well on wood floors. I thought the coed would be an issue but the cord is long enough to stay out of the way. I would recommend this to keep the house tidy!

good cleaning power the self cleaning roller brush is great , the reason for 4 stars quieter than my old rocket but a little less suction still a powerful machine .

We have used a Dyson for years but we were never that impressed with it. I love how easy it is to empty the dust canister on the Shark! And I love the light on it!! Makes a huge difference.

I love this vacuum. I dont have to worry about hair getting tangled in the roller. It maneuvers around objects easily. It is light weight and work well on both carpet and hard wood.

Vaccum is a little smaller than I thought but I love it. It is simple to operate, easy to switch from hard surface to carpet, easy to empty, nice storing option, and has great suction.

It's ok. Works pretty good on hard surfaces, but didn't pick up the dust real well. Won't get my entry rugs very clean. Works okish on carpet. I had to use my fingers to help it pick stuff up when I used it on the stairs.

Lightweight, efficient, long cord, doesn't take up much space and does a great job of picking up everything, including pet hair. The fact that you can convert it into a hand held is a definite plus!

love the long cord, 30ft, it is light but if you go for a long time it can get heavy, just because the motor is in your handle not on the floor, the power is great, the dirt cup is big also, great vacuum!

We compared the Shark directly with a Dyson and the Shark was so much better! At half the price! This is our 5th Shark...2 robotics for the house and 2 of these for vacuuming our 10,000 square feet of turf.
