I was deciding between these tires and the Michelin CrossClimate 2, which I had on my previous SUV. I’m glad I took a chance on these new-to-market tires. The ride is incredibly comfortable and quiet, while still delivering excellent traction and confidence in wet and slippery conditions.

Like this tire on road highway. Good grip on rain. However, the pattern makes it a little harder to get a good grip on rocky terrain. I will kick back smaller rocks on gravel roads at low speeds, instead of rolling over them. Or at least I notice it more than with tires with more 'open' patterns. This tire seems clearly designed for paved roads.
