I have been a user of Michelin tires in my primary vehicles for at least 25 years. I have tried other popular and "best-selling" tires in my secondary cars but never achieved the satisfaction with wear, overall handling and traction as I did with the Michelin tires. Since moving north to a climate with more snow three years ago, I now use Michelin Tires exclusively and am very pleased with my decision.

If you are looking for new tires for your Ford Edge or any vehicle, I highly recommend the MICHELIN DEFENDER 2. I hated the way my car sounded when I drove. Coming from a Cadillac CTS, the Edge has loud road noise. I needed new tires and spent the extra money and got the Michelins. Totally changed the ride of the car!!! So smooth and quieter. Feels like a new car! You will not be disappointed!

Michelin Primacy MXV4s were the tires replaced by these. The biggest difference between the two is that the Defender 2s are much better in rain, snow, and slush, which is the reason I got them. My biggest concern was that they would be louder on the highway and they are not. The MXV4 is a fine tire, but these make my car more capable in bad weather.

Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). I had to get new tires for my Wife’s Elantra. The Cooper CS5 tires that I had put on the car 4/5 years ago had finally gone past the point of no return. The Michelin Defender 2’s have been a great addition. So far the traction has been great considering the snow we’ve had lately. The road noise on dry pavement isn’t too bad. I’ve had other tires a little quieter, but overall not bad. Time will tell how long they will last though. It will take a few years to get the mileage racked up.

I only buy Michelin tires from an authorized Michelin dealer. The Defender 2 and th Defender LTX are my goto tires. Smooth riding, quiet, traction, and durability are second to none in my book. Also, my local dealer has a lot to do with it as well. Good people, helpful, and I've been dealing with them for a long time.

The best tire purchase I have ever made. I replaced the tires on my 2021 Honda CRV which only had 28,000 miles and what a difference it made. The ride is smoother, quieter and my car seems to even handle better. I would highly recommend Michelin no matter what series you’ll be getting the best tire even though they are a little pricey you’ll be getting your moneys worth.

Had to replace 2 of my T&H tires on a 2015 Sienna FWD. Traction off the line especially if wet is terrible. Because they put them on the back for h first few months it was too late to take back. Traction on these is worse than my fairly worn older tires. Who cares about how long they last if they don't work well enough to grip. Tried to see what they would do about it and same answer of take it back to where you bought them. Don't plan to use Michelin anymore.

I've only had the tires a couple of weeks, but from what I have experienced so far, I am pleased with their performance, Stopping distance and cornering are admirable, and they look good on my Infiniti. Here's hoping they continue to please.

I've heard others brag on their new tires, and wondered why they were so excited....that is, until I bought Michelin Defenders for my 2010 Lexus RX350! Having tried the best of many other brands, I must now affirm that nothing--NOTHING-- rides, wears, handles or performs like Michelin! They are more quiet, more sure-footed, particularly in compromising conditions, better wearings, and provide a better ride than any tire I have ever used. FIVE STARS for Michelin...all the way!
