Our RX300 has over 140K ...

Our RX300 has over 140K miles and since we dumpted the original tires at 13K we have used the LTX M&S and now the LT M&S2. with 60K out of each set there was still enough wear for the tire technician to take one set for himself. We now have over 10K miles on the newest model LTX and it is another top performer. I wish they made it in a size for my Sienna.

Great Tire!

What can I say? I've been riding on Michelin tires for 40+ years on all type of vehicles - SUV's, small sedans, large sedans and sports cars. I've always been satisfied with them. I've been using the LTX line for almost as long as they've been available. I'm now driving on the LTX M/S2 and as far as I can tell they'll give me at least the same mileage and the old LTX M/S did, perhaps more. Good traction in the wet and snow is a plus. Keep up the good work, Michelin!

new to Mich tires

Tire used on 2009 Ram Quad Cab (4x4) Do a lot of traveling north and south and so far we have noticed a much softer ride then the orginal tires - better handling also Things that arent so great - kind of expensive - but maybe better in the all around usage to balance out cost

Michelin is the ONLY Tire to Buy!

I switched to Michelin tires on both our vehicles about 10 years ago. I have had many folks ask me why & quite frankly the answers are very simple. It is simple math. Yes you may pay more for Michelins but if you do the math of how many more miles you will get on a set, the increased gas mileage, unreal stopping efficiency when needed in all types of weather, the new mileage rating on certain tires, the change a flat benefit at no charge why would you not invest the best you can buy for the money for the most important feature of your vehicle, the tires you and your family ride on? Prior to Michelin I had many other brands but not one comes close to the overall performance of Michelins, Period. Now stating that you must ensure you follow the rules of rotating every 6000 miles, ensuring you check the tire pressure often, which takes what 5 minutes and keeping the front end aligned and the tires balances. Not a lot of effort to get more of everything out of your tires that you & family ride on daily. I repeated that statement for a reason. I am sure you want to be safe and want your family safe when you are driving your vehicles. I tracked my gas mileage using my tablet on the set I just replaced and it went up near 7% over the life of the set on my Pathfinder that by the way lasted for 92,000 miles! I will never put any other tire on my vehicles except Michelin & I feel the reasons provided above explain that as simply as possible. Travel Safe on Michelins!

Great all around tire

These tires are used on a Tundra 4WD 4 door pickup. We have two sets of tires - winter and all season - for our other vehicles for driving in the Dakotas, but use the LTX M/S2 year round on this pickup. This is the best all around tire for pickup use. It is relatively quiet with good handling but is able to handle significant snow and off road use. The initial cost is an investment but that is balanced by the long tread wear.

exceded all expectations

THESE TIRES ARE ON MY PERSONAL VEHICLE AND ARE REPLACEMENTS FOR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES. I THOUGHT MY SUV WAS A LOUD VEHICLE WHEN HIGHWAY DRIVING BUT REALIZED THAT THE VEHICLE IS FINE,AND ORIGINAL TIRES WERE PITIFUL. MY NEW TIRES ARE NOT ONLY MUCH QUIETER, THE RIDE, TRACTION AND HANDLING ARE INCREDIBLE. I WON'T BYANY OTHER BRAND FROM NOW ON.

Excellent, so far

We purchased 2 sets of these for 2 Trailblazers replacing another tire brand. These tires are quiet, exellent in the rain, very good in snow. We have about 10,000 miles on one set and about 20,000 miles on the other, and treadwear appears to be excellent, meaning, not much wear. I have had tires in the past get noisier with time, but these are still quiet. I prefer Michelin because of performance over long mileage.

Tried the rest ..finally bought the best

Tried all the major brands of light truck tires and finally bought the best. The Ltx ms2 gives a quiet comfortable ride with great tracktion st the boat ramp and wet roads. Probably wear out the truck before the tires...Would not buy buanything else.

A new improvement on a classic Michelin

I got 50,000 miles on my old Michelin LTX M/S tires and loved the ride and durability of the tires. When one of them got an unrepairable hole I decided to get four new ones as the exact model had been discontinued. My new LTX MS2 tires are similar and give a great ride with excellent handling and comfort for myself and family. I attribute a lot of my RX300's longevity to these tires. My father once told me that my car would never be better than the rubber I put on it. My decision to put these Michelins on for the first 50000 miles only made it easier to decide what to put on for the next 50000 miles! Thank you Michelin for making the safest and most comfortable tires for my SUV.

LTX M/S2

I have been using Michelin tires for a couple of decades now and have been very impressed by their performance until my last set of LTX M/S2's. My last set of LTX M/S I got 74,000+ miles out of them with tread left. My present set of LTX M/S2's is just over 52,000 miles and they need to be replaced. I have been able to get exceptional performance from tires in the past and am very consistant in driving habits. Braking is good and traction in good, but the mileage is disappointing. I'm not very impressed with these LTX M/S2's and wish Michelin would go back to the original LTX M/S. I think I'm looking elsewhere.
