Trust my Michelins

I have Michelins on 3 vehicles because i want to have the safest and best performing tires for myself and my family. On my Ford Expedition I am on my 2nd set of Michelins. Currently riding on LTX M/S 2's. i appreciate the controlled and quiet ride plus the benefit of short stopping distance and excellent wear. My Dodge Viper wears Pilot Sports PS 2's. They are great on the street and on the track. They handle very well. I'm confident of the safety of my Michelins in every day use and track use. We are a Michelin family!

First time buyer, lifelong customer.

I had purchased the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires, after trying other name brand tires for several years. I use my vehicle for my job and I am constantly traveling. With other tires, I would have to get new tires every six months. With Michelin tires, I have had them less than six months and I see less tread wear. Recently, I had screw in my tire and took it to a service station that fixes flats. The employee at the station who repaired the tire told me he had work there for over 23 years and said of all the tires out there, Michelin are the best. While they may be a little more expensive than other brand tires, I feel the price is an investment in the quality of the tires and well worth not having to buy new tires every six months. I had never bought Michelin tires before, and now that's all that will ever be on my truck!

LTX M/S2

I have been using Michelin tires for a couple of decades now and have been very impressed by their performance until my last set of LTX M/S2's. My last set of LTX M/S I got 74,000+ miles out of them with tread left. My present set of LTX M/S2's is just over 52,000 miles and they need to be replaced. I have been able to get exceptional performance from tires in the past and am very consistant in driving habits. Braking is good and traction in good, but the mileage is disappointing. I'm not very impressed with these LTX M/S2's and wish Michelin would go back to the original LTX M/S. I think I'm looking elsewhere.

bought this product on all 3 vehicles

I have Michelin tires on all three of my vehicles. My t-bird has over 300,000 miles and has always had Michelin tires. Never had a flat and I like the braking capability in rainy weather.I have LTX MS2 on my Avalon and I get great fuel mileage and a comfortable ride. I like the strength of the LTX m/s2 on my Diesel Pickup as I pull a 4000 pound travel trailer, we just returned from a 2700 mile trip with no tire trouble. I like Michelin tires as they are always trouble free.

This tire was ...

This tire was recceomended to me by a co-worker for my 2002 F150 Ford Super Crew truck. I purchased the tires and the following week left on a driving trip on the tires from Texas to Florida. I immediatly noticed the ride being better, softer, gas mileage was a little better too! They took to the wet roads well and put me at ease and I began to grow more confident in them. I have had these tires now for over 5 years and have put a lot of miles on them without any problems, issues or regrets. I decided that rather than buy 2 other brand tires that only lasted half the time and did not perform anywhere near as well as the Michelin's it was a better buy to get the Michelin tires for my vehicles. We purchased new a Chevy HHR in 2008 and the tires were soon replaced with Michelin tires and I received much better performance, safety, comfort and gas mileage as the Michelin tires on my pick up truck! My position is that all my vehicles will run with Michelin tires from now on! Why compromise and take risks with another tire. If it works, go with it! If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it! Michelin tires have proved themselves to me and my family! There is no substitute worthy of Michelin Tires

No Complaints

So far, so good with these tires. I have only had them on the vehicle for one day, but as we were on our way to our vacation destination, my wife commented how smooth the ride was. These tires were replacements for a set of Michelin LTX M/S I purchased for my 2005 Chevy Suburban in July 2009. I had about 77,000 miles on them befroe I had to replace them. The problem was not the itre wore out, but that I had run over what looked like a strip of brad nails because I had about 15 of them in two treads on the tire. I think I could have gotten another year and 15,000 miles out of them. The tire still had some good tread and were not in danger of reaching the wear bars anytime soon. The tires also showed no signs of cracking. I have had great success with Michelin tires over the years. I had a 1994 GMC Jimmy that (I believe) I had used two sets of the LTX M/S on. These tires wore like iron and seemed to show signs of dry rot before the tread wore out. I cannot verify the model of the the tire because my sister-in-law totalled the vehcile about a year and a half after we sold it to her. The vehicle had about 245,000 miles when it was totalled. I had a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer that I had used two sets of the Cross Terrain tires on. One set lasted four years, while the other set was on for four and half years, and probably could have lasted another six months or so. However, this vehicle was also totalled when I was t-boned by someone talking/texting on their cell phone as they were running a red light. So, I cannot tell you how many miles I got on the these tires but the OEM tires (non-Michelin) only lasted two years. The vehicle had 235,000 miles when it was totalled.

Overachiever!!

After my first few years of driving, I purchased my first set of MICHELINS. Although the ride and longevity impressed me, I did succumb to competitors on two occasions. Price was a factor. For my last several vehicles, I've stuck with a company that, to me, has proven engineering excellence and loyalty to improvement. When I'm on the highway with my family of 7, in rain snow or ice, the last thing on my mind are my LTX MS/2. And for that, while you are competively priced, money is No object. I thank you for being the overachiever in your industry! Bringing me peace of mind!!! Jerry Stephens

Vey satisfied Michelin customer

As everyday tires they have lived up to my expectations. They provide very good handling/control, smooth ride and long tread wear. What more can you ask for? I demand Michelin tires if I buy or lease a new car. My truck is 14 years old...been riding on Michelin tires at least 11 or 12 years. Keep making 'em good and I will continue to purchase your tires. Simple but straight forward review.

Best tires available for Yukon XL

Switched from competitor's radials upon mechanics advice to Michelin LTX M/S 2's and was amazed at the better handling and performance offered by the LTX M/S 2 tires. Driving a Yukon XL in the mountains (Asheville, NC area) will quickly bring out the best and worst in a set of tires. Previous competitors tires would squeel, chatter, and feel mushy through turns. The Michelin LTX M/S 2's have exhibited none of those characteristics and have even improved my gas mileage up to 3 and 4 more miles per gallon. At this point, I will never put another tire on my Yukon XL other than the LTX M/S 2's. I would definitely recommend this tire to a friend and better yet, now my Dad and brother(who drive Suburbans) have gone to these tires and sing their praises too.

Top SUV/Truck Tire on the Market

You can't buy a better SUV/Truck tire out there. Hey these may cost a little bit more but they are worth it. Top quality, great traction, smooth ride & excellent handling. I put these on my F150 FX2 and pull an 8000# boat and nothing comes close at the boat ramp. Super tread wear rating too. Don't settle for cheap tires...Go with Michelin!
