The mattress protector will protect the mattress and soak up any spills if any liquids fall on the bed and if any dirt get on the bed. The mattress protector is machine washable which is great and it’s quite comfortable which the sheets.

It's highly recommended for anyone with allergies like myself. I received the first one as gift but I will buy more for every bed in my home.

This is perfect for people (like me) who get hot when they sleep. Also, I noticed it doesn't make noises when I move unlike those covers that are more plastic like. It's definitely waterproof, it gives me the peace of mind that my little heat box (my son) can be comfortable when sleeping and without soaking the mattress. On top of that I like the strong mesh on the sides of the protector because it stretch to fit my thick mattress. Only con I can say is when laying on top of protector with fitted sheet on top that it can be a little noisy and can cause the sheets to shift.

I washed it and it did fall apart or have a weird texture. It is on the new bed in our guest bedroom.

Strong material made me believe the product would last for years, yet it was not difficult to put on the bed by myself.
