Before using this protector, I would wake up many nights drenched. Now I can maybe count on one hand the number of nights that I've automatically had to change my sheets as soon as I got up.

It is not cooling at all, not even in the slightest, maybe I got a bad one? It also has a slight crinkly sound so if you toss and turn a lot at night be prepared to be woken up a lot from the noise. I get night sweats so was really looking forward to the cooling affect, but there was none to be found.

My body heat warms it up fairly quickly. It doesn't feel any better or worse than any other cooling mattress pad or protector I have ever tried. There's no extra padding so it's definitely more of a protector than a pad. If you are looking for some cushioning, this is not for you. If all you need is a mattress protector, this is great! It seems to be well made, heavy duty, and should protect my mattress from any spills or pet messes. It's a perfect fit for my queen mattress.

It's soft and it helps give peace of mind when you have pets in the house...just in case..you know... It's well made and easy on and off to clean as needed.

The cover is easy to launder and place on my mattress. I live in the south where it is very humid and clammy, especially during the evenings. The cover helps keep my normal 'hot-spots' under control----especially the areas surrounding my pillows.

I've also started getting night sweats so finding something to protect my mattress was my first concern. So many of the waterproof mattress covers are crinkly or plastic feeling in the package. BUT not this one! It feels like my standard mattress cover, just normal material. Then as a bonus it really is cooling. It helps to keep my sheets feeling cool and crisp.
