Smooth ride

These are the smoothest running 'rugged' tires I've ever had on a truck! They also do an excellent job when I'm pulling my 32' travel trailer. Will definitely buy these again when the time comes... which will be awhile b/c they are a 70,000 mile tire!!

Great Tire So Far

Switched to this tire for a '03 Yukon Denalli XL; had 2 sets of another passenger-style tire and the OEM tire for the first 110,000 miles. Have less than 2,000 miles experience so far. Ride is not quite as comfortable, but is not that bad considering that it IS a truck, and I am carrying 38 lbs. in them which is 4 more than the old tires. I think that passenger tires are OK for this vehicle if it is used only for a grocery/6 kid hauler, but not for towing, heavy hauling, or off-pavement driving. Road noise is quiet, even with the deeper tread. The side sway is noticeably less than with passenger tires. Traction in light rain is a non-issue; it's like dry pavement. Have to wait to find out about heavy rain, snow or ice, but the ratings say that this tire ranks at the top. These tires don't squeel at extra low speeds and tight turns in parking lots, either (quite embarrasing with old tires as everyone looks to see who is "racing" thru the parking lot). Trailer towing is much more stable. So far, I am well pleased, even though I had to pay 1/3 more for them than the previous make passenger-style tires. Wish I had done it the last time I bought tires.

Irregular wear

These tires are about a year old and now I am having to research/shop for new tires. They were fine at first and but just haven't held up. I have always been a Michelin buyer, but I am now rethinking my decision to buy another set after reading similar problems with this tire from other people.

Great handling & smooth on the freeway

Great tire on the freeway with quick response in handling. Replaced factory tires with new Michelin LTX M/S2 on my GMC 2010 Sierra pickup with 53000 miles. Waiting to see how they handle in the rain & snow in Michigan. Great replacement tire for the smooth ride on Mich roads which are in poor condition. I wii update this posting when it snows!

Why would I ever buy Michelin, again?

A 42 year Michelin supporter. Countless sets of Michelin, on all types of vehicles, in a varity of uses. A set of LTX A/S purchased in 2009 only gave me 51,000 miles. They were the second set on a 2005 F150. The first set, same tire, 71,000 miles. And guess what, Michelin honored their warranty without question. I just replaced them with the LTX M/S2. That's why I supported Michelin, again!

Riding miles with lots of smiles

Michelin tires are all that I put on my vehicle. They have the best warranty and they stand behind it. I 'm in the construction industry and job sites are hard on tires. Not to mention hauling materials to the job. They also do great in wet conditions.

Tire review

I own a SUV and this is a very heavy vehicle. The set of M/S2 that I recently had installed on my SUV is the second set of Michelin tires I've owned. There's no comparison to any other units, bar none! When it comes to a comphy ride along with great looks! Thanks for your commitment to exelence!!

Tires are worth the price

Excellent road tire. Installed on my 2005 Honda Pilot 25000 miles ago. Do mostly highway driving. Road noise is much less than original factory installed tires. Tires still have plenty of tread life. Tires ride very nice and stopping action is excellent on dry and wet pavement.

Best Performer I have ever owned.

Just bought these 4 Michelin LTX M/S2s, and can not believe the complete difference in the ride, braking, & traction these tires have. Now there is virtually NO road noise. The Tahoe rides Better than it did NEW! My son remarks every time he rides with me that it is quieter than my wife's Camry. (which also has brand new Michelins.) I am so pleased with my purchase, I will never buy any other tire for my Tahoe. Mr. Recor

Not that impressed

So far I have about 5,000 on this set of tires. I have them on a jeep and let the guys at the tire store convince me they had all the traction I needed. They would be correct if you never drive off pavement. We had an ice storm and the tires gripped better than any I have ever had. Wet pavement seems to be great as well. So the down side; I keep very good records and did not see an improvement in MPG. The bigger issue for me was that the tires are nearly worthless off pavement. I almost got stuck on wet grass. The old set of Open Country tires had no issues on the same field with 80,000 miles of wear. My impression, if you only are on pavement they are a great tire, just don't push it in snow, mud, or even wet grass.
