Value, Performance and Safety

Purchased these tire for my daughter. At the time she was a student and doing a lot of traveling on the NYS Thruway. I wanted a safe and dependable tire that was good in snowy conditions. Did my homework to insure I was making the righ decision. The tire has been performing excellent. Great breaking in dry, wet and snowy conditions. To date wear has been minimal. On occasion have traveled through deep snow and was very happy with tire traction. Very important in the North East. I would highly recommend this tire. I have a 2009 Envoy and I would have bought a pair for it, but unfortunately they don't manufacture my size.

Only tires I will roll on my vehicles

Placed a set of michelin tires on my new '87 camry after the factory tires were worn just to see if the claims were close. I was very impressed with the performance of the tires quiet road noise, stirring, gas mileage and durability(~10%more miles of stated rating miles). Mileage were mainly highway usage. Thus, when the new '99 4-runner tires were worn they were replaced with michelin tires since, I had come to rely on michelin's proven dependable product. This time the tires are used on and off road and they are still performing excellent. Now my 2005 camry has a set of michelin tires because you can not find a better product in my assessment.

Wouldn't buy ANY other tire!

I have had a wide variety of tire brands in my younger, foolish years. For the past 20 years I have had nothing but Michelin LTX-M/S and couldn't be more pleased. Quiet, Great traction. Just got over 80,000 miles out of my last set and they still had approximately 25% of the tread left. The only reason I just changed them to the new LTX-M/S2 was due to an unfortunate road hazard that took out the sidewalls on 2 of them. Bought a new full set and used one of the rears as a replacement for my spare. Based on my past experience, I won't be using anything else on my trucks and SUV's. Wife loves them the quiet, smooth ride on her Grand Cherokee and they are outstanding on my Suburban. You will pay more initally for these, but to me, paying 10-20% less on a set of tires that get you only 25-35k miles just doesn't make sense.

Mixed review

35 months and 49000 miles on a 70,000 mile warranty The tires need changing. I live on a dirt road in Wyoming. Most of the miles are highway with only a few thousand miles for towing. The tires are noisy. I'm mostly concerned about braking. Will probably try another pair of LTX M/S2. Not ready to try another brand yet.

Excellent tires

I have purchased many SUV tires and so far these are great. Nebraska winters can be harsh so I look forward to seeing how they handle, however I drive highway and these handle great with no road noise and 80mph is no problem. I average 25k a year so hoping these last. I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee. Went with the optional size of 235 and they look great. Not too small looking and don't rub the front bumper.

The best light truck tire on the road

I having been riding on Michelin tires for over twenty years, and every set has exceeded its mileage rating. They are long lasting, smooth riding and handling tires. I live in a rural area with curvy paved and gravel roads. They are great in all weather. I also keep Michelin tires on my wife and son cars, knowing they are truly the best tires on the road.

I love my MX2's

My LTX M/S2 tires are on my Suburban, and perform very well. They are quiet, show hardly any wear, and inspire confidence in handling and braking in all kinds of weather. I also notice that fuel mileage has gone up since I updated to these tires. I consider my Suburban to be a very dependable vehicle, especially with Michelin LTX M/S2 rubber "feet".

Great all weather tire

These tires have been on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee since December of 2012 so they have been through a winter and most of this summer. I have found that the tires have excellent all weather traction, they are excellent on packed snow and ice and wet roads but are not great in deeper snow. I have also used them on "gumbo" (slick wet clay) back roads and found that they were OK, but as in deep snow, not quite aggressive enough. I give the tires very high marks for standard black top driving, both winter and summer. They are quieter than the original tires that came with the car.

Smoother and Quieter

We are very pleased with our Michelin Tires. We have considered ourselves a Michelin Family since having them put on my Toyata Camry years ago. In fact, when negotiating on a replacement for the Camry I wanted Michelin put on my new Avalon. I told the salesperson it was a deal breaker if not accepted. I'm driving an Avalon now. The tire mentioned above were bought for my wifes Toyato 4 Runner and the difference in the ride (smoother) and less road noise (quieter) is very noticable.

Others have failed me

I've never been let down by your products. My first set of Michelins (LTX M/S2) were purchased for my tow vehicle after my son-in-law and I picked up a travel trailer and literally ran out of the tires that were on my pickup. That was three years ago and no troubles at all. Best compliment I can think of is that I feel safe on these tires when pulling my camper. Next purchase over two years ago was a set of Latitudes for my car, again with total satisfaction of ride and handling. This set of LTX M/S2 I just picked up went on my Tahoe I just purchased to be both an everyday driver and my tow vehicle. I could feel the difference right away. Great ride and quiet when I'm not pulling the camper, and I don't lose anything when I hook the camper up. I still have a great ride and the handling doesn't go away a bit. The guy at the shop that mounts my tires says that Michelins are the easiest tire to balance, no matter the size or model. I think that says a lot about your quality of manufacturing. Three sets of Michelin tires on three different vehicles. Total satisfaction across the board. I won't buy anything else.
