I thoroughly researched the Michelin LTX M+S/2 for my 2007 4WD 4Runner. The ride is quiet and smooth. The grip, traction and handling are superb - even on snow and snow-pack. I have had no known issues with ice either. The wear is even and is minimal after a year and 10K miles.

Great tire. Wears well. great traction. Solid cornering on a 6500 3/4 ton suburban. Great load capacity as well. WOuld highly recommend. Expensive but if you want a tire that lasts and is high quality I highly recommend it. WOuld buy again without hesitation.

I read a review about this tire before I bought these for my wife's 2001 Explorer. The review was right on the money. It's been 2 1/2 years since I had them put on, and they still look new. I was putting on tires every 2 years before. Thank you MICHELIN LTX M/S2

There is a reason I decided to purchase Michelin tires again for my SUV. The previous set of Michelins lasted over 104,000 miles and I couldn't have been happier with them. Despite having a little bit of tread life left on my previous tires, I decided since winter was coming I would go ahead and purchase a new set to ensure the safety of my family and I. I purchased the LTX M/S2's, and I am very pleased with these tires. I have plenty of experience driving in different conditions with the LTX M/S2 tire, including snow, rain, and ice....with NO complaints. I recognize the fact that these tires are a bit more expensive than others on the market, but there is a reason for that. They are simply higher quality, longer lasting, better performing, and safer. Had I went cheap when I bought my previous set of tires in 2007, I would have had to buy 2 sets of tires to last the 104,000 miles which my Michelins did. So I leave you with this, buying higher quality may be slightly more expensive in the beginning, but less expensive in the end, and will ensure your satisfaction with the tire every mile you drive in between. Tried all the major brands of light truck tires and finally bought the best. The Ltx ms2 gives a quiet comfortable ride with great tracktion st the boat ramp and wet roads. Probably wear out the truck before the tires...Would not buy buanything else.

I was looking at a different brand tire for my truck, but the dealer talked very highly of this tire. I did question the less aggressiveness of the tire for driving in the snow, but they really are a great snow tire. I would recommend these tires to a friend.

I purchased a new set of 4 for my wife's 2001 Nissan Pathfinder 4X4 as we live at 7000 feet altitude and have 6 months of snow and ice. I wanted my wife to be able to drive safely and with confidence and peace of mind. The highway stability, smoothness and quietness is simply phenomenal. I have not had a chance to drive in the snow and ice yet nor off road as we have ony had the tires for about three months. The fuel mileage of the Pathfinder improved slightly from a previous 18 mpg highway. On a recent trip to Phoenix, which included some city driving and about 300 highway miles, we averaged 21 miles per gallon overall. The steering is easy and the feeling of control in the turns is very reassuring. The design of the deep tread and the sipes which close for added traction are impressive. I will review these tires again after they have been tested out through this coming winter.

I've been buying new Michelin tires for most of my vehicles since 1980. Every set of Michelin tires installed on any of my vehicles, did show an immediate improvement in handling under all road conditions & better ride comfort. After many miles of use on all my vehicles, the Michelin tires always had the longest lasting treadlife of any other brand. That is why I've replaced the OEM tires on almost a dozen of my new vehicles with Michelin tires, within a very short period of time. I just recently bought New Michelin tires for my three trucks. Two were new with very low mileage and the third had less than 12,000 miles on it. I plan to put a set of new Michilin tires on my 2008 sportscar this spring, to replace the OEM tires which will have only about 2000 miles on them. Then another set of new Michelin tires for my lady's 2006 Ford Escape will be done shortly afterward. I'm thankful to Michelin for their tires, which are the best value, with improved safety while driving in any weather or road condition.

my family has used these previous series of this tire on 4 vehicles, light trucks and full size suvs. we consistently get over 70K miles and up to 100K. they wear evenly, ride quiet and smooth on the highway, and are great all around on road tires for any condition. yes they are expensive but you get what you pay for. highly recommended

I put a set of Michelin LTX M/S Tires on our family van thinking they would be like any other tire. I was so wrong these tires are the best gripping tire for snow and rain. I have never been so happy to drive my swagger wagen around town and on long trips. Michelin LTX M/S have the smoothes and most comfortable ride of any tire I have ever......and I mean EVER bought. I am a sold customer on quality and these tires appeal me in both ride and security on the road. Michelin is quality and I Love my Michelins!!! Scott Newland
