love the tires

The ride is very smooth. They were also a great price. Previous tires (not Michelin) were bouncy, didn't last long. I have the tires rotated and checked about every 3,000 miles when I have an oil change. I would definitely purchase Michelin again. This is the first time I have purchased a Michelin tire but when I need tires again, Michelin will be the one.

Outstanding Tires

I replaced the "OEM" size Michelin LTX M/S tires with Load Range "E" versions because the "big rim" look resulted curbs destroying my rims, and these tires last a good long time. I have been putting Michelin's on my Ford trucks for over 15 years and will continue to do so probably forever, largely because of the enhanced safety we have observed through better braking and improved inclement weather handling. Yes, they cost more, but I am a firm believer in "buy once, cry once" and keeping yourself -- and those you love -- safe.

160,000 Miles on this set

I put the last set of these LTX's on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD in 2005 - over 160,000 miles ago. Yes, I do a lot of highway driving, but... that's still 160K miles! Crossover rotated & balanced every 5K-7K miles. It's time to replace them, so that's why I'm here looking to see if there's anything new & improved. Had 80K on the set on my last truck before I sold it with plenty of tread left... I won't even TRY another brand of tires! If you want a long lasting tire, this is it, hands down.

They are Michelin ...

They are Michelin tires.....what more can one say. Years ago I tried other brands of tires and I quickly learned that just because it's round and black does not make it a tire. These particular Michelin tires are excellent regardless of the conditions......mud, rain, dry pavement......they are great. I actualy take my SUV off road and in some pretty rough terrain and these perform great. When I clean my SUV up and use tire shine I'm good to go to a nice restaurant and valet my vehicle.

Same as other review, did not last as they should have

i'm a long time michelin guy and won't buy any other brand but my last set of these were just 50km and they weren't fit for winter so had to replace them. I do like the tires from a performance standpoint and ride so i'm not buying anything else but this 100,000 km wear out claim is not even remotely achievable. 2014 Dodge Ram Laramie used as a car, no loads or other reason for this, and no kids so it's not racing or burnouts. Tires inflated religiously to door jamb recommendation with on board air pressure monitors

Worth Every Penny

I bought these tires for my 2000 Ford Excursion back in August 2013. Unbelievable difference the minute I got behind the wheel with these m/s2's, ride quality, braking, and winter/rain driving all improved dramatically. Would highly recommend this tire, not cheap but worth every penny. I waited to do this review to judge Wear-Life and I am more than impressed with that aspect of the tire. This past Michigan winter has been a true testament to the capability of these tires in poor weather.

Great Tires

Bought these tires just before vacation and drove to Florida ..they are extremely smooth riding and I did see a slight increase in fuel mileage .. I have these same tires on my truck and ordered these for my wife's highlander.. It seems I made a great choice..I love the way it rides now and have more confidence that it will do well in snow .

Excellent tire

Im on my 3rd set of m/s, or ms2's on a 2005 diesel excursion. the first 2 ssets went for 50-60k miles (they had plenty left when i replaced them, but winter was coming) the set ive got now has over 60,000 miles and probably half of the tread remaining. michelin makes the best tires on the market.

Best set of tires ever bought.

I installed these tires on my 2010 Mega Cab Dodge 4x4, I travel on the road for work. I bought the truck new and it came with a different brand of tires, I would get back from travel and my ears would take a long time to clear up from the road noise. I switched to the LTX M/S2 tires and the hearing problem went away. I also like the smooth highway ride I get from these tires, the other tires were loud and rough. I have 4 trucks for work and I will use these tires on all 4. Thanks Michelin

I drive a 2500 hd truck ...

I drive a 2500 hd truck which typically goes through the normal tire. I originally purchased the LTX M/S and they were terrific. They had 60,000 miles on them when I decided to replaced them with the new LTX M/S2 and they are doing even better. I would say I still had another 10 to 15,000 miles left on the old ones and it looks like the M/S2 will outlast that.
