The Michelin LT2 tires ...

The Michelin LT2 tires have made all the difference in the ride and handling performance of my new Colorado truck. I took the dealer tires off and replaced them with LT2's as soon as I could. I've put 20k miles on them and they still look like brand new.

Overachiever!!

After my first few years of driving, I purchased my first set of MICHELINS. Although the ride and longevity impressed me, I did succumb to competitors on two occasions. Price was a factor. For my last several vehicles, I've stuck with a company that, to me, has proven engineering excellence and loyalty to improvement. When I'm on the highway with my family of 7, in rain snow or ice, the last thing on my mind are my LTX MS/2. And for that, while you are competively priced, money is No object. I thank you for being the overachiever in your industry! Bringing me peace of mind!!! Jerry Stephens

Quality Shows

Overall, a very quiet tire and smooth ride. I have been researching several other brand tires. Nothing came close to this. It's very comfortable and the treadwear is outstanding. I have been to several states travelling and the tires have been very durable and that's quality built. I will get Michelin tires again.

Our family starting using ...

Our family starting using Michelin tires in the 80s. We found comfort in the ride; however, with this new MS2 the enhanced comfort for our Tahoe is compared to none, as well as the increased fuel efficiency (even when towing our boat). We recently convinced our son to put Michelins on his truck and he cannot get over how the "ride" has changed as well as his fuel economy. Thank you Michelin for your expertise in tires

Lasts and lasts...

I'm now on my 2nd set on my 2002 GMC Yukon XL Denali. I know this isn't recommended, but I put almost 80,000 miles on the 1st set of these tires and NEVER ROTATED THEM ONCE! They wore evenly throughout the entire 80k miles with only very slight additional wear on the front. This is a testament to how great these tires are. I am sold on Michelin for life!

Reliable Long-term Performer

2/21/2013. 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4. I just removed and discarded my old Michelin LTX-M/S's when they had 123,303 miles on them, when wear-bars on one of the 4-tires were down to 2/32" (other 3-tires were at 3/32" or more). These old LTX-M/S's were 8-1/2 years old (bought in July '04), and began showing a one or two minor signs of dry rot. Absolutely no complaints!! Great and reliable performers!! Without hesitation, I purchased the current design of Michelins, LTX-M/S2's. I hope to again get another 120,000+ miles on these, too!! I had always hear about fantastic mileage on Michelins, and I have now lived that same story.

Not that impressed

So far I have about 5,000 on this set of tires. I have them on a jeep and let the guys at the tire store convince me they had all the traction I needed. They would be correct if you never drive off pavement. We had an ice storm and the tires gripped better than any I have ever had. Wet pavement seems to be great as well. So the down side; I keep very good records and did not see an improvement in MPG. The bigger issue for me was that the tires are nearly worthless off pavement. I almost got stuck on wet grass. The old set of Open Country tires had no issues on the same field with 80,000 miles of wear. My impression, if you only are on pavement they are a great tire, just don't push it in snow, mud, or even wet grass.

2nd Set

I fist had a set of LTX M/S tires on my 99 Ford Ranger. I was stationed in Alaska and ran these all year round with excellent results! A couple years later and I find myself on the east coast needing to replace the O.E. tires on my 09 F150. I went with the M/S2 and have been running them for about a year with over 10, 000 miles put down. Again I am impressed with the ride and wear these tires put down. I spend 90 percent of the time commuting on these tires but they still handle and look bran new. Excellent highway manners and a confident bite in the rain. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to be a Michelin Man!

Michelin is my trucks best contact!

I live in the Appalachian mountains where most paved roads are curves and two lane, therefore tires need good traction. Tires also tend to wear faster on this type roads, but this is my second set of Michelin tires and both have gone approximately sixty thousand miles each. They are smooth riding and handle great.

This is for the LTX 10 PLY JUST REPLACeD

These LTX m/s 10ply tires are on my F150, and travel 99% on paved roads, in all weather. They are run at 70#psi and just passed 78,000 miles, with enough tread left to go safely for another 20,000 miles. I believe they are partially responsible for my better than 19 mpg at highway speeds. At about 50,000 miles they got noticeably louder, but it was still a very quiet ride. In moderate rain at highway speeds, they occasionally feel as though they are hydroplaning somewhat-never a good sensation. I've already bought the exact same ones as replacements in the next 10-20,000 miles
