Tires that last

I've had my current truck now for almost 9 years. Shortly after buying the truck I had to buy tires. This was my 2nd purchase of Michelin tires. My first set of tires came when I married my wife...her truck had Michelin tires. After driving for 3 years with them (2 years before I met her) we had over 100,000 miles on our first set of Michelin's. We replaced the Michelins with a set of truck tires that only lasted around 40,000 miles. Then again another different set of tires, and these only lasted less then 40,000 miles. After that, we decided to buy Michelin's for the truck. I put over 80,000 miles and finally had to buy my current set. I always rotate my tires so that I get the most wear out of them...but these tires last so much longer than the other competitors.

Great tires so far

I went through two sets of the original tires that came on my f150 & still only have 64,000 miles on it. Every body I know told me to try Michelins and they ride & handle better than the originals, just hope I get more miles out of them.. I will keep you posted.

Misguided reviews

I have had Michelin Tires since 1965. I have well over One(1) Million miles on various installations including the MS series. If you are having any problems with these tires, you may be having a vehicle probllem. I have had nine chevrolets, and everyone has had to have new shocks to stop tire problems. Dodge diesels pick-ups have gone through suspension problems after 75,000 miles causing tire wear. I now have an F-150 Ford with over 55,000 miles on it and with regular rotations, tires still have another 20,000 on them.

Best Tire for the Money

I have over 105,000 miles on my current set and am only replacing this set as winter is setting in and I live in Michigan. There is probably 15-20K more left on the tires. My driving is primarily interstate but I periodically carry heavy loads in my Yukon XL for my business. Smooth ride and trouble free. My Yukon has 345,000+ on it and I will only use Michelin tires. Cost per mile is best on the market.

Quality Shows

Overall, a very quiet tire and smooth ride. I have been researching several other brand tires. Nothing came close to this. It's very comfortable and the treadwear is outstanding. I have been to several states travelling and the tires have been very durable and that's quality built. I will get Michelin tires again.

Best Light Truck Tires !!!

2009 F-150 w/ 20" wheels. 54 year old driver with mechanical background. Purchased these tires just over 1 year ago and have put about 16,000 miles on them. Took a trip out west (6500 miles) right after they were installed. I couldn't be happier with them. Like riding on a cushion of air. Made my F150 even more pleasurable to drive. Wear has been as expected for a truck and I fully expect to get 70,000 miles out of them. Handling seems improved over previous tires. Mileage stayed the same. Tires were filled with nitrogen initially and I found tire pressure was low in all four after 3 months. I have been monitoring more closely. Without any doubt the best tires I have ever owned.

Best in the business

Best riding truck/SUV tire on the market! Quite, smooth, great wear, traction ect won't buy anything else. Sold a truck I put these on and moved them over to my Yukon, thankfully same size because I couldn't let them go! Michelin fan forever! Keep up the good work!

Great Preformance

This tire is amazing so quiet on road and off road holds its own plus some. It has a nice look on my yukon. Should have been the OEM tire. Rain and wet condition driving I immediately noticed that it took less room to stop vehicle. Thank You for a great tire MICHELIN LTX M/S2

The LTX MS2 is a ...

The LTX MS2 is a fantastic tire. My mileage increased by 1 - 1.5 miles per gallon. I put these tires on a Ford Expedition and they handle great. Hardly any road noise and excellent wet weather traction (it rains 9 months out of the year here). They have a nice agressive tread pattern, but quiet. These tires are awesome.

Keep on Truckin'

I replaced the Michelin Cross Terrains on my 2004 Ford Ranger with the LTX MS2's and they are great. Bad experiences with other brands, eg. loud tire noise, uneven and poor wear, led me to the Michelin brand on my truck, and I have been very pleased with them. I got over 40,000 miles on the Cross Terrains, in some not-so-light duty, and so far the new LTX MS2 has exceeded my expectations, while doing some heavy lifting. Snow and hills in Pennsylvania, cement blocks for my garage, and sand and pavers for the patio, I've found they really handle well, and can handle the load. Michelin is the premier tire for people who care about performance and safety. Thanks Michelin, I'll keep putting you on my truck, and my wife's SUV!
