Second Set

I purchased my first set of LTX M/S2 on July 9th 2010. My 2009 Dodge Ram had 67,275 miles on it and knowing that I was keeping this truck for awhile I didn't want to skimp on tires. I now have 152,000 miles and ready for my second set. That's 84,725 miles on my original LTX M/S2's. I would never consider buying any other tire. Thank You Michelin.

Fantastic preformance

Having towed the same heavy trailer for 480K miles, these are the best preformance tires for mileage, road/ride issues, and traction. Higher speed interstate driving, with sometimes more weight that is advised... This is the only tire manufacture that hangs together until the tread is gone. Oh, not quite correct, the OEM tires had no issues, but only lasted less than 30K miles. Negatives... These may cost more up front by a $10 ro $20 bill but when they last twice as long cost per mile is far less that what ever comes close. I've gone through other mfg's and one I had 14 tires replaced under road hazard, #14 did $3000 body damage to the box of the truck. They all went, replaced with LTX MS and never looked back. The big chain that was road hazarding the lesser brand asked me if I ever had Michelin, and if I had issues them. Yes I had them and never had a problem with them for roughly 70K miles. The guys comment was Michelin has very few ride issues and only build "best" tires, not good, better, and best. These LTX MS2 are not like the factory original "A/" series tires that folks around here do not like due to lack of traction. What I want for my winter selection is studable winter tires. When Michelin comes out with those I have a set of 4. When will they be out??

Unbrlievable that a tire ...

Unbrlievable that a tire could make such a difference, particularly since I was a strong advocate of my prevous tire brand. A far superior tire. Ride was enhanced like haveing an additional shock absorber. Traction is excellent. Surprisingly good off-road, since the tread is pavement oriented. A quieter tire than my previous brand. And the increased mileage makes the cost a bargain.

Quiet and Smooth Ride

Purchased a set of 4 275/55/20 LTX M/S2 tires for our 07 Tahoe 16.5k mile ago. The OEM tires still had a decent amount of tread left, roughly 3/16" to the wear bars and the vehicle rode horrible. Finally decided to do some research and decided on the LTX tire. What a difference. A smooth and quiet ride is an understatement. OH had a few decent snowfalls of 6+ inches over the winter of 12 and not once did we have to use 4x4, whereas the winter before needed it to get out of the neighborhood in 3.5 inches of snow. Hydroplane resistance seems to be very good so far. The tires get rotated every 5k miles and all show very even, minimal wear. At the rate the are wearing, tire should last every bit of 70k advertised treadlife before they'll need to be replaced. I have recommend them to 2 friends and both choose to try them out and are very impressed as well. Highly recommend. The price I paid was very comparable to competitors.

Great Tires As Expected!

Michelin has a long, long, long history of manufacturing the highest quality tires worldwide! That reputation is very well earned and deserved! I purchased a new set of LTX M/S2 tires a couple of years ago for my 2008 Nissan Titan, and they have performed flawlessly! They do everything they are advertised to do! That alone makes them a great value! I have never known anyone personally who had anything remotely negative to say about Michelin tires. Now that's a reputation you can trust! This is my first set of Michelin tires. I guarantee you that they won't be my last! I couldn't be happier! Buy Michelin. You won't be disappointed!

What a Tire

My tires are mounted on a 2001 Chevy Silverado. I have had 2 sets of the LTX and now have the LTX2. The first two sets averaged 95,000 miles. I am hoping for another 95,000 miles. My truck currently has 323,000 miles on it and the use of good tires and Maintenance has made this possible. I have these also on my wifes Blazer and cannot be happier. Keep up the good work.

poor

These tires are not wearing like they should. They are needing to be replaced soon. After 10000 km they showed wear. Now have 37500 kms on them. I am a senior driver that does only highway driving. The tires were bought on Dec. 14/15. Rotated every 9 months. Also can you explain to me what MS2 is? Tires were recommended by our dealer for use as a good all round seasonal tire. would not recommend to buy again.

Good Tires MAKE a difference

In the past, I attempted to purchase the best tires available on a limited budget. After reading reviews, I decided to purchase MICHELIN'S for the first time for my Chevy P/U. I could not believe the difference in handling and overall comfort I experienced with these donuts on my vehicle. My hat is off to the Michelin baker on an outstanding product. Thanks Michelin Man.

I have had a good experience with these

I have been very please with the performance of my Michelin tires. I have been through several sets of tires on my current Chevy truck but none of them gave me the long tread wear that I have received from my Michelins. I am very satisfied and my next set of tires will be Michelins. Best regards Edward Snowden
