It's a great riding tire on my 2500 HD

It's a great riding tire. This is the second set I have put on my 2003, 2500 HD Chevy. I have 104000 miles and still going. My next set of tires, in about four years, will be Michelin. This tire in not cheep but they say you get what you pay for, for the price, it is a great tire to have on my truck. Quality, Security, and Safety for me and my family.

Fine tires

I have had other brands of tires in my life but Michelin is the best tire I have ever purchased. The rubber is different from other manufacturers and the sipes truly go all the way down to the bottom of the tread life. What engineering! I just put my second set of LTX MS (The new ones are MS2) They ride very nice and have the stability I'll need when the time comes. (I got 75,000 miles on the first set. I could have gone farther. I am looking forward to snow in the Sierra. I have Michelin tires on my semi as well. Same reasons. Michelin. As good as tires get. You get what you pay for.

Excellent tires

I have a 97 Chevy Silverado 4wd regular cab. The Michelin LTX MX2s are by far the best tires Ive ever owned. They ride so smooth and quiet. They dont vibrate or shake at all. My fuel economy went up and the truck drives more straight. Ive had all kinds of truck tires and never liked any of them until i got these. They are worth the money. They grip real well on wet roads and also off the road. I really like them a lot.

Great off road and Excellent Wet cond.

All tires are pretty good and handling wet road conditions the first year but the LTX M/S (2) stay that way year after year. They are great in snow and evey handle off road conditions very well. On top of that they offer a comfortable and quiet ride down the road. They are the best out there.

Great all around performers

These came on my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500. At 86k needed to change due to wear bars and weather check. Going back. Quiet on highway, great on rain and snow. No off roading for me, so no need to go more aggressive. Pull a boat with no issues. Would recommend highly.

Michelin is miles ahead of others

I have a five year old truck and wanted to feel like I had a new truck. I bought the Michelin tires because they filled the bill both in ride and comfort. They also increased my milage by 1 to 2 mpg. To add a plus they are good looking with the whit letters. I have had two sets on my car and this is the second set on my truck. Snow is coming and I have no worries, Michelin will carry me through. GO MICHELIN

Awesome tire, incredible wear.

This is an amazing wearing light truck tire. Set was purchased for a 2008 Dodge 3500 Dually and it commutes atleast 10 miles of rock daily, and with already 8,500 miles on the set. Rides smooth compared to the previous set of tire that were on it. Use in livestock fields as well with no problems with traction, very satisfied with the tires.

Great Tire for Chevy Tahoe

I purchased a set of LTX M/S2s for my 2006 Chevy Tahoe a couple years ago. They made a huge difference in the ride and performance compared to the factory tires. We take an annual trip to Colorado in the summer (1,700 miles round trip) in addition to our normal everyday driving. I couldn't ask for a better tire, and neither could you. If you drive an SUV, this is the tire for you!

Buy Quality

95% highway driving, 5% off road. Use on 3/4 ton chevy duramax. Pros: Increased mileage right away by 1+ mph. Keeps ride very smooth especially at high speeds. Great through rain, wet roads. Picks up stones in treads on gravel but drops them quickly on pavement. Excited about durability and quiet ride. Will pull 5th wheel soon with pick up. Cons: Soft but absorbent at high speeds when in slow turns.

LTX M/S2

I have been using Michelin tires for a couple of decades now and have been very impressed by their performance until my last set of LTX M/S2's. My last set of LTX M/S I got 74,000+ miles out of them with tread left. My present set of LTX M/S2's is just over 52,000 miles and they need to be replaced. I have been able to get exceptional performance from tires in the past and am very consistant in driving habits. Braking is good and traction in good, but the mileage is disappointing. I'm not very impressed with these LTX M/S2's and wish Michelin would go back to the original LTX M/S. I think I'm looking elsewhere.
