Treadwear Concern

I purchased these tires to replace another set of Michelin tires that I got over 45,000 miles from, which I thought was very good on a pickup. Presently I have 18000 miles on the new set and the tread is about 50% gone, I have 8/32 left out of 13.5 when new. It does not appear I will come even close to the advertised 70,000 miles. If I understand the warranty correctly I cannot look to resolve the issue untill I am down to the wear bars. These tires have been rotated and inflated as recommended and the wear pattern is the same on all tires. After such good service from the previous set of tires I expected better from these. To comply with the warranty should I pursue an adjustment now or wait untill the tires are worn out???

The only tire for me.

I'm on my fourth set of LTX MS tires. The latest the MS2 version. On my second set on a Suburban I use to tow my boat and heavy duty utility trailer. New tires after 115K miles - only because they were beginning to crack after 10 years, but still had plenty tread. On my second set on my GMC Siera XCAB I also use to tow my boat and do occasional heavy hauling. New tires at 95K miles -also because of age cracking, but kept them as a spare set because they still have plenty of tread. Amazingly quiet and smooth riding all the way to replacement. Never had a flat or air leakage. No cupping or uneven ware. Never a worry when on long trips towing or hauling. And I'm sloppy - way overdue - about having the tires rotated at recommended intervals. I trust these tires to not only be dependable, but safe.

2001 Chevy Silverado

195,000 miles on a 2001 Chevy Siverado, extended cab, short box, 2 wheel drive, P255 70R16 LTX M/S. Replaced factory tires at 40,000. First set of LTX went 80,000 and I estimate another 20,00 on the current set. I drive about half city and half highway. I originally bought them for their wet pavement performance but now appreciate the great ride and long tread wear.

Wonderful Tire!!

I am so glad I decided to go with these tires! The tires I replaced were also Michelin's, they had 150,000 miles on them and I only replaced them because there were starting to show aging! They still road very well, I thought, but these new tires are like gliding on the road! They are wonderful! Would buy these all over again!

I have had LTX tires on ...

I have had LTX tires on my trucks because of their construction site performance and that they do not howl at you on the freeway. The improvement from the LTX to this M/S2 is noticeable, especially in the rain. I was not expecting this much of an improvement on a tire that i used for years, glad to see your research development pay off for my excitement.

True All Season Performance

These blow away the OEM tires. I've got over 40,000 miles on these tires and they look and drive like new. I've done some pretty serious snow driving, as well, and was favorably impressed. The fact that they are long lasting without sacrificing performance, is impressive.

Excellent mixed duty & performance tire

On my 2005 Xterra Off-Road: Quiet, grippy, stable, good in mud and rain. No issues at all. Most of my driving is on highways or paved major roads, but I live at the end of a one-mile gravel road. The tire is excellent in all circumstances, including 85mph driving. Mileage about the same as my winter tires. I bought this tire one size smaller that stock (245/75/16 - it was not available in 265)

Great performance and rid-a-bility

I have the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires on my Chevrolet Tahoe, they have performed like no other tire I have owned. They have not worn since installed them approximately two (2) years ago. I have my tires rotated on a regular basis. My ride in Tahoe is smooth and comfortable do the the tires. In wet weather which happens quite frequently in Florida, they perform excellent when coming to a complete stop. I would recommend them highly to anyone that purchase these tires. I have had different tires over the years and these are undoubtedly the best I've every owned. Michelin keep doing what your doing because it works, don't change anything.

I replaced the stock ...

I replaced the stock tires on my 2006 Denali with LTX MS2 this summer. We tow a cargo trailer and this tire is amazing. Very little road noise, tremendous road feedback and handling..mpg increased as well. I would without hesitation recommend that everyone replace their tires with this one!!

SOLO CHEVY

Michelin Tires are simply the very best tires I have ever used, I use them on all my trucks. The Michelin's on my 2005 Silverado are going on 90K miles and they still have plenty of life left, if your looking for a high quality long lasting tire Michelin is the only way to go
