Best tires i have ever used

Being the trucking industry for the last 31 years i have tried many brands of tires and i have always gone back to Michelin.................best tires for safety, wear, and ride bar none!!! i have had them now on my pick up for last 8 years and never had a problem!!! They may cost a bit more but the again you have so much riding on your tires why would you want to cheep out.

LTX M/S2 on Jeep Wrangler

These tires are superb. they transformed my Jeep Wrangler ride comfort, noise and also driving in the wet weather. Not many people think about Michelins for Jeeps, but the Cross Terrains on our Acura sold me on them. Traditional jeep tires are noisy, get lousy wear and and ride rough. These LTX M/S2s are awesome. Even my garage owner loves em! he says my Wrangler is the best riding Jeep he's ever driven. The Michelin tire's off road capability is rated nearly as good as other usual Jeep tires. I spend 95% of my driving in commuting at least an hour to work, and back from 30 to 80mph. I am more concerned about ride comfort and driving in Houston downpours than off roading in mud. These tires run so smoothly! I love em.

#1 TIRE - NOTHING BETTER

I HAVE THE MICHELIN LTX M/S 2 ON MY TRUCK WHICH I USE ON A DAILY BASIS. BEST TIRE SINCE THE OLD LTX. IT GIVES A SUPERB RIDE, ITS QUIET, HANDLES GREAT AND DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HYDROPLANING. I HAVE DRIVEN THROUGH MUCH RAIN THIS SUMMER AND CAN HARDLY TELL MUCH DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DRY TRACTION. EXCELLANT MILEAGE ALSO. I AM SOON APPROACHING 50,000 MILES ON THEM AND STILL WELL OVER HALF TREAD LEFT. I CAN REALLY FIND NO FAULT WITH THEM AND RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL WHO DRIVE A LIGHT TRUCK. GREAT TIRE.

Always Michelin/ No substitute

I and my company have used various Michelin types and sizes of tires since the early 1960's. In all those years I have had one tire failure and it was replaced without question. I am presently using the XC TX4 265/65/R17 110-S. I have traveled 78,000 miles on these tires and believe I still have another 5-10,000 remaining. Getting ready to take an extensive trip and have just ordered new replacements. They are now TX4 M/S2. I usually average between 70-90,000 on every set of Michelins I have owned. One thing I never have to worry about in my travels are my tires. It's always Michelin for my family.

When only the best will do!

We recently purchased new tires for our SUV. This is the 2nd set of Michelins we've had on this vehicle. We were very impressed with the performance of the first set and felt we just couldn't compromise when it was time to replace them. We recognize Michelin Tires as the very best in terms of perfomance, wear and overall safety, we simply won't purchase anything else!

yes

I have the LTX M/S2 on my 4x4 truck and I've put a lot of miles on them, they're smooth, quiet and when I take the truck in for rotate and balance, balancing isn't usually needed. I've noticed also that when I check the air pressure, they don't fluctuate much in pressure. this is my first time buying this tire and also put the same tire on my SUV, they're great, not that I've gone mudding but they're good off road too. if there is a negative it is that the gas milage is slightly less that the last tire I had on it but not by much and yes I recommend this tire and will purchase them again

Love these tires. I have had this tire on 3 trucks now and have always been impressed. The snow traction, wet traction and tire life for a truck that tows more miles than not. I always get more than 70k miles on a set. I will definitely put these on my 2009 gmc Sierra 2500 hd again.

Not "Tired" of This Product!

The second set of tires on my 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche were the LTX M/S. I got 126,000 miles out of these tires, because I rotated them every 6,000 miles, religiously. The second set, the LTX M/S2, I got 131,000 miles out of these tires. (I don't ever go off-road) Ready for my third set, and this time I am thinking about going with the Defender LTX M/S, but when something works for me, like the LTX M/S2, I stay with it. A QUIET tire is very important to me, (followed by a smooth ride) and this tire IS quiet, provides a smooth ride, has great traction in snow and water and long tread life.

88,000 miles on a 70,000 mile tire

Just an awesome tire. I have 88,000 miles on the LTX M/S2 and I still have them on my truck! I also had the older LTX M/S on another truck that has 84,000 miles. Sold that truck and the tires where still in decent shape. Pros; smooth ride, good gas mileage, longest lasting tire in its class, super durable, cons; to many sipes. If your hard on your tires and like to burn rubber you will mess up your tread :) sipes are good though for the average driver keeps the tire cool and makes it last longer! I beat my tires up all day long and still get 88,000 plus miles on them! Keep doing what you do best Michelin! Once you go Michelin anything else well is just a maypop. Ps: Michelin, I would really like to see the sport cups come stock on the new SRT VIPER!

50,000 miles and going strong !!

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram with 268,000 miles. I have used only Michelin tires since new (including as delivered). I have never had to have any of them balanced after initial mounting and project that my current set will last 85,000 - 90,000 miles. I use this truck every day and occasionally tow a 10,000 trailer. I always buy Michelin tires for all of my vehicles!
