Yukon XL 1500

Bought 2008 yukon XL used in 2010. XL had 30k miles. At time of purchase had dealership put LTX M/S 2's. Yukon now has 102K miles.....Absolutely love the tires. Replaced them with Mich (Lattidtude) based on current budget. I hope I donot regret the decision. Older tires still had plenty of tread just a noticeable inside wear pattern that made me a bit nervous for the family vehichle. Tech said the full size GM vehicles tend to have this issue....IDK.....I'll post again with an update on the Latt's

Long Lasting All Conditions Performer

This is my third set of Michelin LTX M/X tires that I have used on my Ford Expedition. The average life span of the tires for me has been around 70,000 miles easily. After buying the LTX M/S for my Ford the first time, they have always been my "go-to" tire. They drive exceptionally smooth on the highway and can easily handle mud, snow, dirt roads, and light off road conditions. Michelin is always my first brand recommendation to others.

Replaced my Goodyear Wranglers

Was scheduled to replace tires today on my Sierra crew cab & couldn’t have picked a better day. Picked the Defender and while it’s only been one day can say the difference is incredible. I can tell a huge difference just driving in the lot, had to think if I was driving the same truck. Incredibly quite on the way home less roar, very smith more like riding in air with a firm grip. My only concern was speeding it always seemed as I was traveling 10 MPH less then I realy was.

Worst tires ever

These are the worse tires I ever bought. It only gave me two years and then dry rotted. I know it's still under warranty but what good is it if will happen again. The warranty will only covered the remaining tread and you have to pay for the rest plus mounting and balancing. When you finish paying you are really only saving a few bucks just to get another two years. I have purchased 3 set of Michelin tires for 3 different cars but never again.

Tires

This product is smootherr and quieter than the previous wrangler at/s tires. I did not need the more aggressive tire tread on the 2009 GMC Sierra. These are better for mainly highway driving and light off road terrain. Works well on rutted sand road and towing trailers.

CAN'T BEAT MICHELIN TIRES !!!!

I have been buying Michelin tires for my pick up trucks since 1989. They cost a bit more than other brands but they last so much longer. The ride is better and in the rain, wowwww just great. I am retired now but sometimes I pull one of my three trailers, no problems at all not even when I am pulling my motorcycle trailer with my big bike on it. I don't have to worry about pulling away or stopping, they handle it. I will NEVER buy any other tires for my truck or my wifes car. LOVE'EM.

Not the typical Michelin Tire experience

This is my 3rd set of Michelin LTX M/S2 tires and I'm not sure if I will buy again. After the initial tire installation everything was fine. I experienced the typical good ride quality and handling. However, after my first tire rotation I had a vibration in my steering wheel that was abnormal. The tire center I now use was able to isolate the issue to an out of round tire after performing a tire balancing using load force technology. My only option is to replace the tire or never rotate. Either option isn't great considering the amount of money spent on the tires. I will try and work with Michelin on a potential replacement and hope it is worth the time and effort.

Smooth, strong and long lasting!

I bought these in the 285 75 16 size, as it was the tallest I could get. The load rating is very high. On road traction is VERY good, wet, dry and snow. Off road is ok, not great. Towing and braking are very good. Fuel mileage is up 20% or so over the last mud tires i had. I have 30,000 miles in the last year on a diesel excursion and can't perceive any wear. They will probably last 90k or so.

Good treadwear

With just over 50k miles on the tires and being 3 years old, I had to replace one of the four original tires. The one tire I replaced (with only 5k miles) was due to a micro tear on the sidewall that produced a slow leak. Too bad, not covered under warranty.... go figure. These tires have excellent treadwear, but be careful with hitting or rubbing the sidewalls against curbs or rocks. What provides for a smooth and quiet ride, also translate to thinner sidewalls to absorb all the bumps and turning force. Would I recommend them, sure! I drive 70% in dry weather, 30% in wet and snow conditions. Tires work well in both conditions and I'm pleased with the treadwear of the tires so far. Hoping to get another 20k miles as there is about 30% treadwear left on the tires. Just avoid curb rash!

I only trust michelin tires.

I have a full size van that has a wheelchair lift. These tires are good for heavy loads. I love the way these tires handle and last for a long time. I have bought these tires in the past and will only buy these tires for this vehicle and for any other vehicle we will purchase in the future.
