Michelin LTX M/S2 The only tires!!!

We only run Michelins on our SUVs because we know we can count on the smoothest and quietest ride from out LTX M/S2s. When my wife and kids are driving, I have confidence that these are the safest tires on the market and I get 70,000-80,000 miles from a set!

No Complaints

So far, so good with these tires. I have only had them on the vehicle for one day, but as we were on our way to our vacation destination, my wife commented how smooth the ride was. These tires were replacements for a set of Michelin LTX M/S I purchased for my 2005 Chevy Suburban in July 2009. I had about 77,000 miles on them befroe I had to replace them. The problem was not the itre wore out, but that I had run over what looked like a strip of brad nails because I had about 15 of them in two treads on the tire. I think I could have gotten another year and 15,000 miles out of them. The tire still had some good tread and were not in danger of reaching the wear bars anytime soon. The tires also showed no signs of cracking. I have had great success with Michelin tires over the years. I had a 1994 GMC Jimmy that (I believe) I had used two sets of the LTX M/S on. These tires wore like iron and seemed to show signs of dry rot before the tread wore out. I cannot verify the model of the the tire because my sister-in-law totalled the vehcile about a year and a half after we sold it to her. The vehicle had about 245,000 miles when it was totalled. I had a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer that I had used two sets of the Cross Terrain tires on. One set lasted four years, while the other set was on for four and half years, and probably could have lasted another six months or so. However, this vehicle was also totalled when I was t-boned by someone talking/texting on their cell phone as they were running a red light. So, I cannot tell you how many miles I got on the these tires but the OEM tires (non-Michelin) only lasted two years. The vehicle had 235,000 miles when it was totalled.

My 2010 GMC Sierra Denali ...

My 2010 GMC Sierra Denali came from the factory with Brand X tires as OEM. After reading how terrible those were in Winter Weather I replaced them at 1000 miles with LTX M/S2's on all four wheels based on prior experience with the same tire on my 10 yr. old Ford F-350. The LTX M/S/2 even outperforms the previous version of the already excellent LTX Michelin tire with even better handling and ride. Hard to believe they could improve this tire but Michelin development and research did just that and it was well worth the money spent to replace the OEM tires. Could not be happier and we always ride on and depend on Michelin quality, performance and tread life on both our vehicles.

06 LX470

Lexus recommended the HP which only provides a 50k warrantee. Michelin only offered the HP in my size tire. So, I went from a 275/60/18 to a 275/65/18 and brought the LTX M/S2 and boy was that a great decision, thus far!. They are very quiet and smooth. I don't need a High Performance tire and I wanted a long touring tire that I would not have to worry about! This tire offers a great warrantee and superior quietness! I wrote this for people who have my car to tell them don't worry because it's a half inch taller and will not stop as short as the HP. However, the cost is better and I don't drive 185mph to worrying about stopping a few extra feet. I disclaim any responsibility for your decision to use my wisdom.

Excellent Truck Tires

I have these tires on a 2002 Crew Cab 4x4 with a Duramax, Short Bed, 166k miles. The tires have improved on the older LTX M/S side walls. The sidewalls are stiffer and do not allow loads and trailers to push the vehicle sideways. Excellent control downhill with loads in turns. The tires are pretty quiet on the highway and have a good grip on the road, on and off road.

Love my LTX tires

I recently purchased a new set of Michelin LTX M/S2 tires and love them!I switched over from a different brand and will never go back. I switched because of the warranty and the reviews however I have found that their were lots of other reasons to buy Michelin. These tires have definitely enhanced the way my vehicle drives, thanks Michelin!

Awesome Tires for SUV

I absolutely love Michelin tires. I have owned my SUV for 10+ years and have run nothing but Michelin's on them. They give you the best and smoothest ride and the best wear. I drive about 120 miles a day in all kinds of weather (i.e. rain, snow, ice) and I absolutely love them. I never look at other tires when it comes time to buy new ones. I just know exactly what I want - Michelin. They are awesome. I am probably your most loyal customer and I am always recommending Michelin's to my friends.

Awesome!

I had a set of 4 P235/75R15 tires installed on my 2000 Dodge Dakota and as I was leaving the tire shop and got on to the streets of Tucson, AZ (full of potholes) it seemed like I was in a totally different truck than when I went to the tire shop. It was like driving a totally different truck (like a new one). This is my second set of Micheilin tires (had a set on an older Dakota). Hope I get the same mileage/service on this set as on the other set. Would strongly recommend thes to the next person.

Best Tire I have Used Pulling My Camper

I have used 5 different towing vehicle over 35 years with the same 24 foot camper. The truck in am currently using is an 2009 model half ton and is the only one that I have ever had Michelin Truck tires put on after purchasing the truck. The LTX M/S2 is by far the best tire I have ever used based on it's traction during sever weather, rain, ice and snow. I have never had a tire that rolled so easy and gave me handling traction that I needed with added gas mileage. Based on the first 7617 miles the tire wear has been very good. I am very pleased with my set of LTX M/S2 tires.
