My mechanic snickered when I said I wanted this tire. Who's laughing now, San Antonio?!?!??!!!! A full week of winter! Five inches of snow and ice, and I have these on a 2008 Scion xB. Feels great to be able to bring supplies to people stranded with no water, food, first aid supplies, etc. . . My car hasn't skidded or hydroplaned whatsoever. Feels very solidly "on" the road, as tires displace snow and ice. I've never had tires feel this dependable beneath a car!

I’m on my second set of the Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires on my 2016 Ford edge. Living in Maine, these are by far the absolute best tires I’ve had on my vehicle in over 40 years. Unbelievable traction on snow and ice, rain, and water on the roadway. The ride is quiet and highly responsive. I recommend these to anyone.

I just have to say these are the best tires I have ever purchased. It truly improved the ride in my Tesla, soooo smooth and I luv the tread pattern.. I have highly recommended this tire to my fellow Tesla drivers and hope I have made a sale or two your way.

Have been driving for only two days on my 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid and see the difference right away. Very smooth and quiet ride. Don’t feel potholes at all comparing to my previous MICHELIN Premier LTX. Completely blown away by the performance. Hopefully they will last for at least 70000 km.

So far with few hundred miles the tires are great. Had some ice/snow and they did well. In the past I have had poor luck with Michelin tires in general. But bases on consumer reports ratings I decided to give the Cross Climate 2 a chance. I will report back after 5 thousand miles.

We purchased these tires for our Audi Q5 3.0T several months back and couldn’t be happier. Prior to these, I wasn’t able to drive faster than 50 mph in the rain as the suv would hydroplane nonstop. Scary!! My husband came across these and decided to take a chance on them. Not only did the hydroplaning stop, the vehicle rides better than it ever has. Additionally, we just had a major snow storm today (first since having these bad boys) and I was able to drive it like it wasn’t even snowing. I was also able to get up hills that other vehicles were stuck on without any issues at all. Hands down the best tires in the snow I have ever ever had. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Not sure what they want.

I have owned them for two years but this is the first opportunity I have had to drive in slushy snow and sloppy conditions and they did well. I tried them in deeper snow and they do very well. The absolute best rain tires I have every used. They handle well and brake well. I am shocked I am saying all this because I usually do not prefer Michelin. these are the best tires I have ever owned and hope to use them on every vehicle going forward.

Vehicle - 2022 Lexus RX 350L. I replaced the Bridgestone ecopia OEM tires at 35k miles due to wear (they are 55k tires) with Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires after considerable research. I have had Michelin tires on a number of vehicles over the years, and apart from a set of Primacy tires, I have always been pleased. While the Crossclimate 2 tires had great traction, especially when wet, there were two serious problems with them. Immediately noticeable was that they did not track well, and needed constant correction on the highway, and it almost seemed that the power steering was increased. But the major problem was with gas mileage. Probably a 15-20% drop in mileage which meant range dropping from about 440 to 385 per tank-full I’m changing to another brand this week. Disappointing after doing what I thought was some extensive research. Reading other reviews and postings on forums, this seems to be a common problem.

I bought these tires for my MKX last January (2021) and was immediately satisfied with the way they drove through snow and slush along with how they handled ice. I just bought an Aviator with size 275/40R22 and you don't make them yet. Please have them ready for me next winter.

Bought these last summer in preparation for this winter. It gave me a few months to also see how these performed as everyday tires. Overall, I am very pleased with these tires. On dry and wet pavement I have received good handling and traction. This morning, where I am (Fort Collins, CO), the city was surprised with a bit of a dump. The forecast was for a trace of snow, but I woke up to 5 inches. The city was caught off guard and had not prepared the streets by pre-applying mag chloride. So the morning commute was through 5 inch snow on the residential streets and tracks and a layer of ice on the main arterials. I had no problem negotiating any of it with these tires with the exception of starting from a standing stop where I got a little bit of spin where it was ice. But then, the 4WD and AWD vehicles had the same thing. Shout out to these drivers, the ones I saw realize that 4WD helps you go, but doesn't help you stop. Everyone was driving for the conditions and I saw no accidents on my 6 mile commute. About the only 'con' I have seen is a reduction of gas mileage. In the city, I've had about a 10% reduction in mileage. On the highway, not so much. But I bought these as an everyday all season tire that will get me through those few storms that Colorado receives. I've been very happy with them and unless Michelin or someone else comes out with a better tire, I will purchase another set when these wear out.
