Good ground pork. This is great for testing sausage recipes without having to drag out the grinder and has a lot less cleanup. The 1 pound individually sealed packages make it convenient to store in the freezer without having to portion out bulk.

A lot of Asian dishes calls for ground pork and these were so convenient because they were package individually so you can use 1 or all if you have a big group to feed. Pricing is very reasonable.

Unfortunately this ground pork is lacking in it's own natural flavor. Even with the help of spices in creating your own sausage it is bland. The color just seems off and it's just not what we were expecting. It works in a pinch.

The pork was good quality. the 1 lb portions were perfect for freezing for future use. I make several recipes that need ground pork. Glad to find at Sam's

I bought this pork to use in a variety of things we make at home. However, the first thing I noticed was how fine the pork had been ground, like a paste. We used this ground pork in a couple of recipes and noticed a gritty texture. I made sausage using this pork and the sausage had a gritty texture, as if hard things had been ground into the pork. I don't know if the processors ground this meat so fine to hide ingredients from the consumer, but this food item worries me. I will not use the remaining packet nor repurchase this stuff. This is very suspicious and disappointing, Sam's club usually has a good quality meat department. Now I am beginning to have doubts.

I bought this last month in store because I was so excited to see Sam's carrying plain ground pork at a really reasonable price compared to other grocery stores (not ground sausage) and I've been really impressed with the quality! I've already made ground pork carnitas for tacos as well as a teriyaki pork ramen noodle stir fry with it and both were delicious. In the batch I got there was basically no grease in the final cooked meat, it browned up beautifully and the fond added delicious flavour to the final dishes without having to fight the flavour of preseasoned sausage. With the current price of ground turkey rising, this would be a great stretcher for beef. I also had zero bad stomach reactions, which sometimes happens with cheap pork products. I'm planning on making either spaghetti and meatballs and/or breakfast pizza with my final pound of this, eagerly awaiting next month's Sam's Club trip to get more!

We purchased the ground pork in March and immediately put it in the freezer. Today, I opened the pork and it was spoiled. It smelled really rotten. The only way that occurs is when the meat was not property cooled when placed out in the store. That was three pounds of meat we had to throw away. Just a week ago, our delivery had items that were going to expire within two weeks or less. We keep having this issue with fresh items at Samsclub. We are considering cancelling our membership.

Didn’t like texture and certain pieces of I don’t know what it was. Was expecting better.

Found pieces of bone and large bits of cartilage mixed in. It was rather unpleasant to consume.
