BRING THEM BACK!!

Please bring these back and if you're able, get some of their other flavors as well. Definitely not cheap but the price was low enough that we would continue buying them. Much too expensive via their website. Everyone loved them. A tiny bit spicy for me but I lived

Best tasting tamales I’ve ever had

Great tasting. better flavor than even ones I’ve had in Mexico. They are small in size. Each one is about the size of a roll of nickels. Meat to masa is about 50/50

Delicious!

These tamales are quite tasty. Since they're frozen, it's easy to pop them apart to prepare them & put the rest back in the freezer. We like our smothered in a chili sauce & topped with freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese. Serve them with your favorite Mexican side dishes for a great meal.

Better than remembered. Even my Sister liked them.

I really enjoy tamales. I have bought Texas brand tamales before, but it’s been a while. I don’t usually buy them because they are a bit expensive at most grocery stores for a dozen. When I saw them as Sam’s at that price, I had to get some. They were better than I remembered. They only had the pork version that I could see. I usually get beef or chicken, but these were excellent. My sister usually will not eat store bought tamales, but she tried these and really liked them.

Tamales

These are the best Tamales in my opinion. Texas Tamales sell their products online at a considerably higher price. Sam’s price was a lot less. Will buy again.

Fair

Tamales are decent flavor but extremely small. The masa also seemed a little undercooked when made. Very doughy. I grew up in New Mexico and Texas, so I know my tamales.

Not worth it, unless you want masa

Well not impressed, if your looking for some formed masa this is your product. Now if your looking for a good tamales keep looking because this aint it! A ton of masa with afew shreds of poorly flavored beef, possibly the worst tamales i have ever had. Dont waste your money

Awful! Just Awful

These are the worst tamales I have ever tasted! There was so much spice in ours I believe it was to hide the terrible taste of the supposed pork filling. When I opened the package I was surprised by the size of these things, small like a taquito. The packaging says "No Lard" but mine were so greasy/oily and the red from the seasoning was a mess. There was no improving these by covering them with cheese or salsa or anything else. Big waste of money.

The should be sued for false advertisement

Man, I was so stoked for these. The bad looked great, and I thought “why not?” Man, I got home and realized that this was a dozen tamales. The size of the bad is 6 regular sized. I opened the up and they’re literally the size of hotdogs or churros. Super skinny. The filling was some type of ground up meat, mixed with something. Honestly, these were the worst tamales I’ve had in my life. I ate 2 and they the rest away. It was such a disappointment, and they should be forced to change their name. These are bad. They shouldn’t be allowed to call themselves “Texas tamale company”. They should be called “meat stuff in masa, but not a tamale”
