Scotts Green Max has worked very well for me. Northern Colorado is known for it's dry climate and hot summers. This spells trouble for our lawns. I've used several of "Colorado's own" fertilizer with mixed results. I've applied Scotts Green Max twice this summer and I have to say our lawn has never looked better. The high iron content has made all the difference. Green Max spreads easily.

This product did just what it said. It made the grass that was previously dull and dry a very nice green. Note: This product will not bring dead grass areas back. At least that is my experience. But it did transform the grass we had into a nice solid green color. Follow instructions and it should work like a charm. KEY: FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this was the wrong application period for this product. My grass appears to still be dormant doesn't want to wake up yet. I applied the product March 11th, waited 7 days and took pics again. The grass is beginning to wake but there was no noteworthy changes or greening. I thoroughly read the packaging and didn't see anything about application timeframes or types of grass it works on. (I have Bermuda).
