So I'm a newbie to lawn care and had to trust this whole process with 1)Weed and feed, then 2)allowing Green Max to do its thing after a few weeks allowing the weed n feed to kill weeds first before applying. I thought the weed n feed killed my Bermuda grass but my friend said just wait a few weeks. We were blessed with several days of rain which fast tracked Green Max tremendously. I was feeling some kind of way bc everyone's lawn was so green however many of my neighbors use Professional and expensive lawn care services. Now my lawn is the envy of my street! This stuff is the truth and I'm so pleased w- the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Green Max Lawn Food is the mainstay of my lawn treatment plan. I start the season with it, early to get a good green-up in my lawn. I'll use the Summer Guard and Winter Guard products for those months, and then mainly use this for the in-between. I spot treat weeds, so the Green Max Lawn Food is the perfect regular feed for my lawn. It goes on easy and greens up the lawn, fast. I highly recommend this and any of the Scotts product for a reliable fertilization for your lawn.

I have used Scott's products for 30 years but was very disappointed with this fertilizer, it didn't get my grass green in three days but it did burn my grass similar to some of the pictures from other reviews. I know how to apply fertilizer been doing it for years so it's not that I don't know what I'm doing this product is probably not well balanced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow..... I almost regret putting this on my lawn because my bermuda took to it like crazy. I had some of the best and deepest green bermuda on my block after putting this on. I went out of town and was in for a surprise when I got back to mow! I HIGHLY recommend this stuff. I get constant compliments on my lawn in a cookie cutter neighborhood, and I don't really work all that hard on my lawn other than the usual maintenance. This product blew me away.

Before the Texas Freeze in 2021, my yard was not the best and after we got hit with the Freeze, I looked closely into yard maintenance. I decided to start slow with Green Max. April 2021 it was a work in progress but in 2022, the grass is definitely on its' way to a greener lawn. It's now ready for a new phase to try in a few days the Triple Action for Southern Lawns. I am very proud of my yard and i work on it almost every day with some type of activity. Thank you Green Max and Scotts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product was easy to apply and worked quickly. I am sure the copious amount of rain we are receiving did not hurt either. I would recommend this product to anyone. It does seem to be too pricey though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lawn greened up nicely and showed resilience against foot traffic from both dogs and children. Definitely a healthier lawn overall than in years past. Applied with a walk-behind spreader made the process fast and easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott's Green Max Lawn Food works but it took longer than 3 days. I aerated my grass and along with this it looked amazing. It was greener, thicker, and I felt like some of the balder spots filled in. It didn't take a lot of maintenance on my part except I needed to mow it more often. I recommend this to all my friends and family.

So I wrote a review earlier and gave it 3 stars. I am doing a follow up with results. AMAZING is all I have to say. It did take my front yard a little longer than the other areas but it too has perked up nicely. This is my 1st year doing my own lawn maintenance and this was a wonderful product to start the journey. As you can see a few bare spots but tackling that today! I would definitely suggest buying the MaxGreen product. I know I will purchase again.

Grass: Empire Zoysia After I've done my Spring weed and feed, I use Green Max every 6-8 weeks with the last Green Max feeding in last August. It gives the maximum growth, thickness and a dark green color you'd expect from a high nitrogen/iron fertilizer. No yard will be as dark green as yours. The down side is that you almost can't keep up with the growth when the night time temps regularly stay in the mid 70s or above. Still, this is my go to fertilizer for the bulk of the growing season.
