I spread this on my lawn about 5 days ago for the first time, it was supposed to rain but it didn't (of course), I limed too. We have lots of dew at night so i would assume it soaked some of it in. It turned such a wonderful deep shade of green. The brown spots have begun to rapidly fill in too. I love this stuff. it is also kid and pet friendly which is really important to me. I would rather feed my lawn so it fills in so there are no weeds vs. using a weed killer. It's better for the environment......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food is amazing. As soon as I put it down, I could see a spurt of growth in the lawn. I mean quite an expanse of grass and it affected it like a life preserver to a swimmer. It's now very lush and green.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have used this lawn food. Easy to use - just put it down and wait. We had a lot of rain so I only waited a few days and couldn't believe how dark green my grass turned. We have the best lawn on the block.

This did absolutely nothing! I followed the directions and application to a T. This product says Deep Green in 3 Days right on the bag... Well thats a lie. There is absolutely no difference in my grass. I applied it on a sunny day, the grass was wet the next morning from dew over night with temps between 68-75 and the following day had a few sprinkles. Not sure how much better weather you could get for fertilizer but that didn't seem to help at all.

I switch from Lesco over to Scotts on recommendation from Home Depot person.he said that most of his customers prefer the Scotts brand because the results were much better. My concern was that it cost a little more than the brand I was using. He assured me that it would be worth it in the end. Well I bought a Scotts spreader and the Green Max and applied according to directions. To my surprise it did not get greener, even my neighbor commented on it, so I was not to happy then, I even waited two weeks with watering and still no deep green. I'm not giving up yet though I just purchased 2 bags of the winter formula at Home Depot because you get 20 percent of when you buy 2 or more bags. Wish I didn't have to waste my money on that Green Max, I should've ask for a refund but I lost the receipt, lol. So I'll stick with the program you guys have outlined for me on the Scotts iPhone app and see what results will come.

The lawn greened -up and filled in very nicely and looks super. The bag was easy to open and the product spreads smoothly- no lumping like other fertilizers and spread evenly.

My yard is a deep green color after applying it a week ago with daily spring rains afterwards. There is a definite line on my property between my two neighbors yards and ours. Even the neighbors noticed it and inquired as to what we put down. I will purchase a couple more bags to do my back yard now that I know it works!
