Excellent

These tires are simply amazing. They are worth every penny that I spent on them. Also, I have 100% confidence in my driving with these tires in this weather. I live in Duluth Minnesota and these tires are much needed in the winter. I appreciate the quality of these particular tires, I will recommend these to friends and family and always buy these tires whenever I need them

Even better than the X-Ice

I previously had X-Ice tires on my VW Rabbit. They were really good tires but the X-Ice Snow are even better! The X-Ice Snow gripped icy roads a little better than the X-Ice but the snow traction was vastly better. I recommend them whenever anyone talks about winter tires.

Not Satisfied

I had heard about Michelin a lot from my friends, and based on their advice, I bought a new set last month. I feel they are fine for snow but not for icy conditions in Edmonton or Alberta, especially when your car is not an SUV or all-wheel drive. So, I will not recommend this set of tires for small cars.

Pricey, but worth it

I bought this type of Michelin X-ice snow for my wife's nissan rogue and had nothing but success with them. My wife had the confidence to drive in the winter without worrying about pothole damage, slipping, or getting stuck. A solid well built tire. I then bought a set for my C300 and they drive very well. Solid and great grip on wet, cold, and snow-covered roads. The tires for my c300 were pricey, but worth it as they are a quality tire that holds up to wear.

Good and durable

I had two sets of x ice snow suv for my Range Rover and Tesla model x plaid. Range Rover is heavy and the tires do good in winter. Tesla has over 1000 lb ft of torque had one time slippered on the road bump in the snow road. Overall I only use this brand and this series. I think other brand is either too thick or too thin.

Don’t get X-Ice winters if you’re a performance car enthusiast

After having owned several generations of the Pilot Sport Alpin, my tire dealer only had the X-Ice Snows available this time. They’re great in the snow and wet, but REALLY annoying in dry handling, in that they make a lot of noise above maybe 0.3g. The Alpins NEVER exhibited this characteristic….

Sassy tires!

I researched tires in an overjoyed that I chose for my 2012 Front Wheel Dr., Audi. These tires have more than met what I was expecting, they are sassy to the elements! I am not a car person like my husband, but wanted to the ice x after I read other reviews. I feel safe and confident driving in the North Idaho snow!

Outstanding in all conditions

I have had three sets of X-Ice's on a Chevy Malibu, Mercedes GLA45 and a Subaru Impreza. What makes me keep coming back is the fact that they handle well not only in the snow but in the dry and even in warm weather. When you travel from Colorado through Utah and to Las Vegas your temps can change from below zero to 80's, heavy snow to sunny and dry all in the same trip. The Michelins perform well at any temps, any altitude and any road conditions I have encountered. I left them on during this past summer on my Impreza before I traded it and the dealer wanted them on rather than the OEM's. I am thinking about getting them for my new Hyundai Kona. If you want a tire than can function well in a wide range of conditions this is it. BTW, I drive at least 30,000 miles per year for work and pleasure.

Disappointed in ice capabilities.

I had this winter tires since early 2022 put on my 2020 forester however they performed poorly on ice fish tailed twice even when driving slowly in intersections. I have lost confidence with this set. 225/60/R17 on a forester 2025 I bet the oem tires would have performed better on ice. Very disappointed although it is good on deep snow and dry conditions apart from that stay away from this. They marketed this tire that it will perform on ice hence the name x-ice but does not live to its name. Note: tires not even that much worn out.

Always bought X-Ice tire and still not dissapointed

I've always loved the X-Ice tires from Michelin. All my cars and trucks have had them. The traction is phenomenal and they are so quiet. I never look forward to putting my summer tires on as they are noisier compared to these. They usually last me 4 years and I usually give them to my family as they are still great for lighter use. I do approximatetely 60k a year. About 30k on winter and 30k on summer.
