I have to admit, these are extremely tough. When I try to rip a hole in them they do not easily tear compared to my normal trash bags which do. I typically hate scented stuff and it usually makes me sick - I literally gave away 40 full laundry pods yesterday because I could smell them THROUGH the container and box. But the scent level of these bags is actually tolerable for me, which is rare. I'll probably buy unscented next time, but this scent is not bad.

This is the only bag we use in our home. The strength of the bag is outstanding, but the odor control is the best.

Love these bags! Granted, you can’t keep overstuffing, but I abuse them regularly and they hold up quite well, I’ve used other brands, but keep having to chase those down into the can, as they slip around. These are something I don’t cheap out on.

I am a Gain lover. However these garbage bags were the biggest let down. They don’t flex at all. I have yet to use a bag that doesn’t rip. I have had to double bag or under fill each one use. If there is an item with any edge, the bag tears open. I would love to be proven wrong, but I won’t use my money to do it. I purchased a large box of these and will have to go back to my previous brand.

The new and improved version seems to be manufactured with cheap material that rips and tears easily. And the so called ability to grip the trash can is a load of crap also. Not impressed at all and now I am stuck with over 100 trash bags. Looks like I will be purchasing Hefty brand deon this point on.

Puncture too easily. I mean tear, with big holes, when pulling out of the can and tying up. Not like they used to be. Yes they flex, but only for blunt items. Anything with an edge or in the least bit pointy will poke through and the hole will get big with the slightest tug of the bag.

The quality of these has gone down. The bags are super thin and barely hold up now. Barely made it 30 feet to the dumpsters and the bag stretched and tore open (average kitchen trash nothing heavy)

We use to love these trash bags. They changed the style and now the bags are shorter then before. They don’t even reach the bottom of the 13 gallon trash can like they use too, they hang probably down half of the can. Don’t like the new blackish color either wish they went back to the old style. Will be trying other brands now.

Been buying these bags for years. Last 2 purchases, something was quite right. The first bag tore right out of the box! I thought this was a fluke, but no same thing with the next bag... bad batch, maybe? Nope, happened with next box I purchased!!! I believe they changed the formula or thickness to these bags. They are terrible! When I try to lift them by the strings they tear. When I grab them from the bottom, my finger punch holes in them! Terrible!

We wont be a repeat customer on these bags. The bags are thin and tear easily and 90% or better have had the bag itself melted to the drawstring and that tears the bag as you attempt to use it. The only thing positive I can even begin to say is they do have a pleasant scent. So they are much more useful as an air freshener than they are a trash bag.
