The product is great but for the size of container, a type of handle would be helpful

Issues with neck and cap

I stopped buying this brand in spite of it being great quality. It used to test ph as alkaline however I don’t know if that has changed. What I do know is that I received too many bottles with crushed necks or caps that would not twist open without a large kitchen knife. Thats unacceptable and I wish I could enjoy this water again.

tds 80, 8 times higher than Ozarka

I just tested this spring water with tds tester and it scored 80which is extremely high (the gigher the score the worse the water quality. Ozarka Spring water scored 14 which is incredibly good.. will only buy Ozarka from now on instead of this terrible water

Like these PET bottles.

Very dead or flat taste. I think oxygenation might help clean this up a bit. The PET water jug is unique for bulk water, and it doesnt leach into the water -at least that I can taste. I started cycling through water I had stored for emergency recently as the stores were short, and Ive been drinking sell by 2012 date water and cant tell any difference between that and new bottles. The common HDPE jugs give water a very bad taste. Not sure if thats ph-ph-phlalates or what. I had the water in the basement here where its cool, but I think it would still do much better then HDPE in the heat. Did notice the new bottles are a lot harder to open -tight fitting cap. But I have a rubber tool I use for opening jars-similar to an oil filter tool- that makes very light work of these caps, and I prefer to have a tight cap so you dont have to wonder if the cap was secure or not. Another benefit of the PET bottles is that they seem to be a lot tougher then the common HDPE jugs. You can have simple creases cause a leak in the HDPE jugs. I use gallon jugs in the freezer to create ice blocks, and the small freezer I use for this only has like 6 shelves that are not adjustable. A normal size HDPE gallon jug will not fit. But these Crystal Geyser jugs do and they seem to be pretty durable. I add quite a bit of salt to my ice jugs which, in part, slows down how quickly they freeze and expand. I imagine these bottles might split if they expanded too much. The screw on top is nice for this application too -a lot of HDPE jugs are using press on tops. Like to see walmart.com list stock levels. Never know how many of these will be on the shelf. Also their stock alert on this didnt work. But its nice that you can see if the store is out of stock looking online. Be real, be sober
