Michelin Defender2 - 215/55R18 95H Tire

I just bought and registered these tires. I have high expectations of them due to the reputation of Michelin.

It gives a smooth ride, no bumps on a cold start. I have 2 sets, winter which also are very good on snow and ice. Ran Michelin for over 50 years.

Very good ride on dry or wet road

Great tires… better ride than OEM… smoother and quieter. I’m very pleased with these Michelins  also, made in the USA!

DEFENDER 2 MICHELIN

My last Michelin tires which were stock to my new Toyota had 60,000 miles so I purchased these 80,000 mile rated Michelin's, a great value.

Purchased a week ago before a road trip.  What a pleasure to ride with quality tires!  Makes a huge difference for an enjoyable and safe trip.

Michelin Quality at it’s finest!

I am very disappointed with the Michelin Defender 2.  The 4 tires are rated for 80,000 miles.  However, I am experiencing uneven wear (feathering) on al 4 tires at 12,000 miles.  I have documentation to prove I have been aligning my tires at Firestone since the tires were purchased new.  The shocks and struts are new on my vehicle.  However, I am experiencing noisy tires, and the roads feel bumpy all the time.

Please give Shamara and Sencere a raise! I am elderly and a bit on the illiterate side when it comes to cars. I purchased 4 Michelin Defender 2 Tires for my 2019 Buick Encore per my son’s instructions. Once I recovered from sticker shock, I realized it was the best decision. Shamara went out of her way on December 11th to help me order the correct tires. She was kind, respectful and extremely  knowledgeable. It meant a lot to me to have someone treat me so well. Today, December 17th, was installation day. Sencere greeted me, I asked if he could also install new wiper blades. He even helped me purchase the right ones! Sencere installed my new tires and the driver’s wiper blade. Passenger blade is a bit of a conundrum. No fault of Sencere’s. Shamara refunded the passenger blade and offered information as to where I might be able to purchase the size needed.
Shamara and Sencere are why I will go back to Sam’s Club on Joslyn in Auburn Hills whenever I have tire issues. I will tell all of my friends how nice and respectful and knowledgeable they are. Please give them another hug from me. It means a lot to have such terrific service. Thank you.
