We have had Michelin Defender tires before and loved them. They rode nice and smooth on our 2011 Toyota Sienna. Then we hit a nail on the sidewall and our dealer was out of Defenders. We regret putting other tires on. Just put our 3rd new set of Defenders on and happy.

Reviewed everything I could to make sure mom is set up on something safe. Car O.E tires where Continental Contipro Touring. And they were wonderful but seems like these Michelin Defender 2 tired are going to take the Cake! Especially on the roads she's on. They gotta handle well in rain and snow definitely Michelin does both well. Hope the 80k hold up. The Tred is very thick and built well. Good for dirt roads as well. Very responsive on hiway. Thanks Michelin, for keeping mom safe!

Sorry, but the Defender 2 tires have really been a disappointment for me! They are not as quiet as I expected, they are an 80000 mile tire and I'm at 30000 and need tires. The handling has been very good in rain and snow and dry, but now the wear bars are showing and I am concerned they may not be good in rain. I'm very disappointed with this set of tires. Only 2 years old and 30000 miles and need to be replaced. No more Michelin for me!

Tires ride smoothly and quietly. Was hoping to replace my Michelin Primacy with another set of Michelin Primacy. Old tires had plenty of tread but were getting old (summer only car with low mileage). The Defender do not corner like the Primacy. The Primacy were more performance oriented and you can tell the difference. Unfortunately the Primacy in my tire size is no longer available (225R60/16). I do not drive like a race car driver but when I made a U-turn, you could tell they didn't grip the same. Also when making a left turn with and advanced light, sometimes I can tell my tires are slipping (accelerate a little too hard for the tires). I wish the Primacy were still available in my size.

I researched tires for my 2018 Nissan Rogue and read good reviews for this tire. I was looking for quiet and a smooth ride. I just drove home from the tire store and am hugely impreased with the ride! I don't know about longevity yet but am looking forward to the future.

These tires have changed the way my 25 Crosstrek drives. I love how smooth and quiet my ride is now. Have not had a chance to test on wet roads yet. But I would certainly recommend these tires. I have always gone with Michelin on all of my vehicles and the Defender 2 did not disappoint.

I purchased these tires for my VW bug. I wanted a quiet tire and a smooth ride as my can is small and if the wrong tire is purchased it can be noisy. These tires are just what I wanted. They are quiet and give a smooth ride. I recommend them highly!

I have been driving Defenders for many years and just put a new set of Defender 2 tires on my 2019 Subaru Impreza. The new tires are very quiet, with zero vibration at any speed. Steering seems more precise and the car tracks perfectly at highway speeds.Routine handling overall is not "sporty" but is very good. My Subaru is glued to the road. In the past few months, I have done 100+ mile drives under blizzard conditions (Route 95 is badly plowed in New England) and heavy rain/sleet, without a single scary moment. I was especially impressed with my car's handling in moderate snow. The Defender 2s are fun to drive and give me confidence that, with careful driving, I can stay safe even in the worst weather. I also expect them to last a very long time.

Absolutely love these tires, recommended by several Pali owners. Better than the Hancock Better than the Hancock tire that Palisade comes with by default if you can believe that. I'm a Realtor and I cover a large geographic area so I spend countless hours and days driving. The ability to be able to make calls to my customers without all the background noise and a comfortable ride are absolutely paramount! 3 weeks before our first Colorado major winter storm, i had a set of Defender2 tires put on. Our first storm, over 5 days, was over 40" of snow, which then turned into several inches of ice. I have a very steep driveway and with my previous tires, I slid at every inch of snow we received (I have a 2023 KIA Sorento 4WD). Not only was I able to drive up my driveway without any trouble, but when I came back, I easily drove down the driveway without the ABS kicking in. These tires are amazing. Please thank the engineers. I have been driving for 64 years and have never had an experience so spectacular. Thank you all!
