I used to have Hankook tires on my Honda Civic. They only lasted about 30k miles I had two sets, the one from new and the replacements. Both lasted only 30k and I drive very conservatively. I noticed that my wifes Acura has Michelin tires and has not worn them out after 100,000 miles. So that is 3X longer than my Hankook tires. So now I have Michelin Defender 2 tires and I like the stiffer ride they provide.

I replaced Goodyear tires on my wife’s Acura TLX with a set of Michelin Defender2’s. I also replaced the OE Firestone tires on my mother in law’s Jeep Compass with the Michelin Defender2 tires. My wife and Mother in law immediately told me that their vehicles ride way better, handles better, and it is more quiet in their vehicles. As for the design, I love the way Michele tires look on almost all vehicles. All I can say about the construction and materials is that the tires appear to be made well. I am 53 years old and have never had a Michelin tire let me down. So I trust Michelin enough to use their tires on my family’s vehicles. I had the primacy ltx standard issue. These are a little louder, a little less gas mileage, but the cornering is better. I haven't driven in rain yet. The ride is slightly rougher but these should last way longer. I only got 41000 out of the primacy ltx.

I put the Defender LTX M/S 2 on my truck because I drive a lot of highway miles but still need some decent off road traction periodically. These tires have performed exceptionally well - dry pavement, wet, or snow covered, they get the job done! They ride well for a 10 ply tire and increased my mpg as well. Been a Michelin guy for 50 years and these Defender series further cemented why I ride on their tires.

I am a dedicated Michelin fan. I think they are the absolute BEST tires in the world. I bought a set of Michelin Defender 2 tires for my 2020 GMC Terrain, but unfortunately, I was rear-ended on the freeway with less than 1,000 miles on the new tires. The car was declared "Total Loss" by the insurance company. Now, I have to wear down the tires on my replacement car's off-brand tires so I can put Michelins on it. Only then, will I feel safe and satisfied. Thank you for caring enough to make the best product money can buy!

I was looking for a “quiet” tire and Michelin Defender II answered the call. Because of excessive “road noise” I was hearing AFTER I replaced my tires three year ago I thought I needed new rear wheel bearings. Due to the cost, I “road it out” with the last set of tires. Recently I decided to get new tires then replace the bearings. I drove a block on the new Michelin Defender II’s and amazingly the “road noise” was gone! I highly recommend Michelin Defender II if your looking for a quiet and dependable tire.

I replaced the factory Michelon's on my 2015 HONDA Odyssey with a new set of the same tire. Why change what has worked so well for the last 10 years! I couldn't be more pleased. They improved the handling of the vehicle...I had 65K on the last set...and the new set is smooth and quiet. I definitely will buy again.

I was disappointed when I saw the B rating on the traction for an all season radial. I would have preferred and 800 tread wear with an A traction for an all season radial. My fault for thinking all Michelin Defenders were A A rated when I was investigating the tires. The same name (Defender) across the line is confusing.

They ride and steer Great!! But they sound HORRIBLE...."roaring" road noise from 30-70 mph, droning sound so bad that you can't even hear yourself think. If you want to buy them back or swap them, would be happy to. Very disappointed with the Defender2's, have always had good luck with your Michelin brand until now.

The car came with Primacy Tour A/S tires. The car handled great and had a great ride - fun to drive. These tires are terrible. I made a huge mistake buying them because of my long history of purchasing only Michelin tires. They were the Michelins recommended by a tire dealer I trust. As soon as I drove away with these tires, it was like the car that was so much fun to drive had gone "numb." The dealer tried to fix the issue, but the conclusion seems to be that the Defender tires were a bad match for the car.
