[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This folding work bench is perfect for my garage which is at capacity with two cars, three kayaks, two paddle boards and tons of other stuff. I have always wanted a large work bench but space has been the limiting factor. This workbench solves that problem by giving me the large work table and lots of storage without taking up too much precious garage space. Installation was pretty painless and the install videos were very helpful. One issue with the install instructions was I wished they had a list/table or calculation to show how high to mount the bracket the unit hangs from to get a specific table height. There were just two example heights provided in the instructions so I had to do some math and guessing to get the height to match an existing work bench. After it was installed, I began putting tools on the pegboard and was really impressed by the amount of space available for tools. It comes with 30 pieces of various pegboard hardware to get you started but depending on what you are hanging up you will probably need more. I bought two assorted 1/4" hardware kits from different stores and found that both kits had some hardware that was too long for the interior peg board. Hardware that sticks out more than 7" won't allow the table to close. The pegboard holes are 1/4" but most 1/8" hardware will work on this board with the exception of a few pieces I had from another board that were too loose and would fall out. I especially like that the sides of the unit have pegboard holes so you can use them inside or outside of the unit. The sides work good for mounting tools you use frequently and may need quick access to when the unit is closed. Folding the unit is really simple and it has springs that assist the opening and closing of the unit. Once closed the unit has a latch at the top that keeps the unit closed. I am a little concerned about the latch getting bumped and accidentally opening. To prevent this from happening I have a D-ring carabiner that I slip through the latch lock hole to ensure it stays closed. Also, as a bonus there is even room to fit one of my kayaks underneath the unit which is pretty awesome. You can easily fit several tool boxes underneath the work bench and still open and close the unit without any problems. Additionally, there is room to put a tool box or other items on the top of the unit for even more storage. Overall, I am really impressed with this work bench which has added a significant amount of workspace in my garage without taking up valuable storage space. In fact, now that I have moved a lot of my tools into the unit I feel like it has freed up some storage space for me to collect even more stuff...here we go again!

My wife bought this for me to prvide me workspace in our new garage, which is quite a bit smaller than the space in our garage at our previous home. It is a very nice workbench that fits compactly into our the garage. In addition to it's compactness (did I mention the fold up feature of the work surface?) it is a very nice and good looking and functional addition. It was easy for one person to assemble (you may need two to lift the upper part on the wall mount before finishing assembly). The built in metal peg board areas on the back and sides are very handy. The work surface is adequate. There is an ability to have the work surface be from 36" off the ground to over 40" above the floor( great for me at 6'6" tall). Finally, there are cut outs provided to slip your screw drivers and some other tools into so you don't need to use up your peg board space for them. I am very happy with this workbench and highly recommend it.

I love it. I have a single car garage and tight for space. This was exactly what I needed to have a workbench. An added bonus is that this bench can still fold down with the car next to it so I don't have to move the car every time I need to get something. Larger and more convenient than I expected and came with plenty of storage hooks. As you can see, I can fit a lot of tools in and on top of the bench. It is solid and well build. The legs were a pain to get the perfect height but once in place the bench is perfectly level. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a fold away work station. The convenience of it has me working on projects more regularly.

A must for your small workspace. Only way I can get my 2 cars in my 20'x20' garage and still have a really nice work bench. This is great. Easy to put together also. Hardest part is locating the wall studs to attach it to.

I’m very happy with the quality and functionality. The only draw back is the assembly. Not hard just lots of steps and requires 2 people to do it. Other than that I’m extremely happy with how it turned out! =^)

An amazing item, arrived quickly, packaged well, assembly was fun, everything should fall in place precisely, if not you must be doing something wrong, I am very proud of this space saving work bench

I bought this a couple years ago when it was on sale for a mere $200. I'd still highly recommend it at the full price. I previously tended to use my 5' table saw surface as a work table. It always got cluttered and was a real pain to clean up when I actually had to use the saw. But my garage simply did not have space for a fixed work table. However, I did have wall space. I can just barely open the table and do minor work with a car in the garage. I have to remove the car when working on big stuff. I can't leave the table open because there is a risk of clipping it with the car. This is a good thing. This table is very solidly built. "Lifetime" is a good name. I was able to assemble it and mount it by myself, even at my advanced age of 65 at the time. Assembling it by oneself is fine. I strongly recommend adding an extra pair of hands to lift it up to mount. It is heavy! One big advantage is that every time I use the table, I have to put everything away before folding it up! I've always been a bit lax about that. And how I was inspired to do much more. The wall adjacent to the table used to have lumber piled against it. I added racks to store the lumber and that gave me room to add shelves and fill them with labeled storage boxes. I even ran a cheap hose from my air compressor over to the bench to make it easy to use my brad nailer. I also added a florescent light and a power strip. Maybe the attached pic will give you some ideas as to what you can do. I am astonished at just how organized this table encouraged me to be. I just took care of a couple minor projects this morning. No searching for the necessary stuff - it was all right there. Everything got up away. I didn't even have to move the car!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product was shipped to our home. Looked like the shipper had dropped it on one corner. The parts are well wrapped and stored in protective Styrofoam, but we had a couple bent pieces (see pics). My husband was able to straighten them out with a little effort, being careful not to break a weld. The metal is well coated and sturdy. The instruction booklet has QR codes that can take you to Lifetime's video instructions if you get stuck in a part of the manual. Took a couple hours to put together on one day and then two more hours another day to get it mounted, leveled, and finished. My husband is 6'2" and loved that it had up to an 8 inch variation to mount so he could have it higher than the standard 36" counter height. We set it to 66.5" on the wall for the top mount = approx 41" bench height. This saves him from having to hunch over when he's tinkering. Love that it folds up so there's no lost space for parking cars. It hangs high enough we can store our Lifetime folding chairs and a couple of folding sawhorses underneath. The springs help keep it from falling and slamming open. Latch is sturdy, We've used a small combination lock so it keeps it fastened and we can protect our tools inside. Lots of storage space in the compartment, with the hooks, for drills, hammers, tools, clamps, etc. Also has good room on top to store additional tools. We plan on installing a light bar. He's trying to convince me that he needs a second unit, to go in the basement, where he can tie flies and prep his hunting gear! Overall, 5 Star rating. Product exceeds expectations and quality for at least $100 cheaper than other compact benches I've looked at on Amazon. I've already recommended it to friends and family. Even if we had been unable to fix one of the bent pieces, Lifetime has great customer service and undoubtedly would have shipped a replacement part.

I bought this for my husband to use in the garage. It is really sturdy and well made. The delivery guy was not happy about dragging it up to the door...it weighs ALOT!

Awesome work table if your space is limited. It folds up well and can easily go on a wall with a parked car. This thing is HEAVY and will require two people, for certain parts, when assembling/mounting. Very sturdy design, all metal, except for the work surface. I love the option to pad lock it to secure the tools inside. I added two rows of under-the-cabinet lights (one on the outside, one on the inside) which help quite a bit for working on stuff and seeing tools. I highly recommend this work bench!
