Have had these CrossClimate 2's on my wife's Subaru Impreza Limited for about a month. No chance to test them on snow or in heavy rain yet, but given her Subaru's great 4-wheel handling in snow, I have high expectations for how these tires will perform. Some reviewers have commented on road noise from these tires, but we've not experienced that at all. They're quiet and comfortable. A couple reviewers mentioned some wandering on grooved pavement, which I've also noticed, but not any worse than the previous Firestone's that came as original equipment. Not a problem in any way. So far, love 'em. I'll update after a snow experience.

An excellent all-season or winter changeup tire for almost any application where rain, ice, and moderate snow are factors (a legitimate 'snowflake', 3PMSF) while maintaining confidence at high speeds, and enhancing certain performance characteristics such as cornering and braking. I just ordered the CrossClimate2 to replace a pair of CrossClimate+ on my [FWD] Mazda, not needing to consider another tire, as I recently chose a set of CrossClimate2 on my [AWD] Lexus IS for the new winter set and I could not be happier with them. You do need to be attentive and work them in properly during the break-in period, as they can be a little loose during that break-in. If you do break them in properly you will have a better chance of being a satisfied Customer, this is true with just about ANY tire. I suspect some of the complaints around these either do not understand that break-in approach and/or received poor advice - or no advice at all, from their Installers. As far as gas mileage and road noise comments go I would disregard those as the performance and safety of these tires far exceed any inconvenience in those areas, I've had dozens of different tires on similar vehicles and these are neither loud nor inefficient gas-wise, long-term. I gained back my MPG and then some with these compared to multiple other brands. My only complaint of sorts would be the tire/tread life, where I have just over 20k on a pair of CrossClimate+ after approximately 2 years. That is very low mileage-wise, however,, they have been great through everything nature has thrown at them and even though they have 3-4/32nd left out of the 9/32nds when new, I'm replacing them early for safety concerns instead of trying to squeeze another season or three out of them, which I probably could, but better safe than sorry. My family drives these cars daily and I'm more comfortable with them having more tread. I am expecting more life out of the CrossClimate2 with 10/32nds new... I will likely post a separate performance-centric review for the CrossClimate2 experience on the Lexus, as I only have a few hundred miles on that vehicle, but so far the results exceed expectations, providing a very stable and consistent ride, better than any of the other tires I've ever had on that Lexus. If anything the tires amplify the driving experience on my vehicles and sometimes that means revealing suspension issues and other inconsistencies in their feedback, the type of precise feedback that less dynamic and responsive tires do not provide. This is another likely limitation of understanding on the part of some CrossClimate Owners.

I’ve never written a review for a tire, but these tires are truly the best tires ever. I live on a steep him in a private community. It snowed and no neighbors could get out or back to their houses. Our Tesla was able to go up and down the icy and snow covered hill with ease. They work perfectly in sun and rain too. Just amazing!

I've had these tires on my 2011 Honda Pilot for the last 3 winters, these tires are exceptional in everyway. I'm 55 and have driven over 1.5 million kilometers so far. I live in Ontario and have family in New Brunswick, we drive to NB a minimum of 3 times a year. Christmas, March Break and summer. We have experienced every weather condition imaginable on these journeys. The Michelin Cross climate 2's handle anything that it has thrown at it. They have exceptional traction in all weather conditions. I have put approximately 70,000 Km on them and they handle just as incredibly as the first day they were put on the vehicle. The wear is even and consistent on all 4 corners of the Honda. I recommend these tires to anyone I meet. There is also the added bonus of never having to change or store winter tires again. These are the best tires I have ever driven on, I always feel safe and confident when travelling anywhere with these on my vehicle.

I Bought them for my Ford Taurus SEL and Wife's Volvo XC60. Recommended to my Son, who purchased them for his Ford Fusion. Recommended them to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law on their Ford Edge Sport & Lincoln MKX. Also recommended to and purchased by numerous friends.

I’ve been a Michelin tire fan, but have buyers remorse on this set. I was pointed to these tires as being excellent, they do great in the rain but otherwise I haven’t felt that they provide superior performance and they must have a great deal of rolling resistance because I’m experiencing a reduction of 3 mpg with my Q5. Very disappointing.

We bought our first set of these approximately 3.5 years ago. We have been thrilled with them. They provide great traction, they are not noisy, and the tread has worn very well. Unfortunately, the tread separated on 3 of the 4 of them recently. They had 33,000 miles on them. The tread was only half worn so we received 50% towards the purchase of another set. Still very pleased with the tires. Hopefully these ones won't separate.

I bought these for my 2012 Suzuki SX4. After about 3 months later, I just slapped a pair on my 2011 Subaru Legacy. These tires a "meaty" and, while I have lost some MPGs, they are my favorite tire I've had on either car. I've put them to the test several days and nights driving in snow and ice and they haven't let me down yet. I'll be trekking around the mountains of Colorado this summer and see how they do in all the heat.

I bought the H speed rated instead of the V hoping to get a softer ride. The 19 rims on the 2015 Lexus RX 350 don’t ride very well. Impressive stopping ability. I mean impressive. Good grip on wet roads. Handles well. Fuel mileage dropped 2mpg. After 18 months I’m pleased with the wear. Very smooth ride on smooth surfaces. Harsh on really bad roads. One tire made an awful noise constantly. Warranty replacement fixed that problem. Almost silent on smooth roads. These tires must be difficult to manufacture. Enormous differences from tire to tire in the amount of wheel weights needed to get them balanced. I’ve never had a set of tires that needed this many wheel weights. Correctly balanced the car is smooth at 85 MPH. Outside of the fuel mileage drop they are outstanding tires.

Our new vehicle came with Toyo A36 OEM tires. However having the vehicle delivered in December, we switched tires and rims for Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV tires. During that winter I read various unfavourable reviews of the Toyo A36 tires. I also read very favourable reviews of the Michelin CrossClimate2 four season tires. When it came time to change out our winter tires for all season tires, we had the brand new Toyo's removed from the aluminum rims and had the CrossClimate2 tires installed. The CrossClimate2 tires have a very aggressive tread. I jokingly call them 'tractor tires'. However these ride extremely well, quiet and comfortable, eliminating most road imperfections. These are great in rain and slippery road conditions, hugging the pavement. Alternatively these are excellent on gravel roads and offer a very controlled ride. These are proving to be a formidible tire for spring, summer and autumn driving.
