NOT Safe IMO and experience

Came with our brand new 2023 Bolt EUV, From day one, tires slide all over, no grip, even slide to a stop if have to hit breaks hard. These were so scary on wet surface roads that I could not even bring myself to take them on the hwy in the rain. I was afraid they would hydroplane badly and definitely not keep me on the pavement for safety, considering the way it handles at 35 to 45 mph surface roads. And they have NO give, you feel everything riding on these tires, even the tiniest road imperfection. I now have 14k on them and definitely not wearing as a 65k mile tire either.

TAKE NOTE!!!!!

Wow!!! My 235/50/r17's have 78,782 miles on them...I rotate every second oil change and was very suprised that only two of the tires really needed to be replaced. I decided to do all four since they recommed that we do all of them. Ride, comfort, and durability far out way any expense of the tires.

Bought this product again

This is the second set of Energy Savers A/S on my Ford Fusion Hybrid. They are a great tire for a great car. I will say the down side has been the wear mileage. However, it would have gone to the warrantee limit if I ran it to the "wear bars". They have always given a great ride. Quiet and smooth running. Makes the car handle very well. Do rotate the tires faithfully, however. And have the balance checked every 15,000 miles. Tire pressure must be checked ever 3 mos. Great tires!

Great Tires!!

My husband recommended buying these tires to replace the Continental tires, that came w/the brand new 2012 CRV. After installation, we noticed right away an increase of 2 to 2 1/2 mpg, and an additional 1 mpg, when we got on the freeway. Since Jan. 2012, we have put-on 42,500 miles, and our tires still have 7/32nds to 8/32nds treadlife. Very pleased with wear, quietness, and traction. Would recommend to anyone. PS-30 to 32.5 mpg

Good Tire!

We noticed an immediate difference between this set of tires and the brand which came with the car when new. Smooth, quite and excellent grip when dirving in the rain. Our automatic choice when time to replace tires is Michelin. We are extremely pleased.

Now on my Second set of these Tires

After 61,000 miles I just purchased my second set of Michelin Energy Saver AS tires for my 2008 Toyota Prius. The tires I replaced still had a fair amount of tred remaining but we are heading into the winter season here in New England so I replaced them now rather than trying to get through the winter with them (I drive about 30,000 miles per year). The tire dealer told me that these old tires had at least another 8 to 10 thousand miles of wear left in them. Obviously I was more than satisfied with the Energy Saver AS tires since I bought four more. They have worn better than I expected and they are good in wet conditions and in the snow. In fact, during the heavy snows we had last winter they performed just as as well on my prius as did the snow tires my friends had on their Prius (they do not have Michelin snow tires). The one negative for the Energy Saver AS tires is that they are somewhat noisier than some other tires, but this is a small trade off for all their other positive characteristics. I would recommend these tires to anyone who wants excellent fuel mileage, a smooth ride, excellent handling and good traction in both wet and dry conditions and in the snow. I think they are great tires - they do exactly what they are advertised to do.

Quiet and Smooth

Replaced Goodyear Integrity on my 2005 Ford Freestyle. What an upgrade!!! The Michelins are quiet and responsive. The first thing noticed was how freely they rolled. Stopping performance is great. They are a very comforable ride. They are not a performance/low profile tire, so don't expect that. Expect a quiet, smooth, cushy but firm ride. Can't wait to see how long they last. Excellent in the rain too - can't even tell it's raining. Highly recommend!!!

Great tires, except…

These are the factory tires on my 21 Bolt, and they’re pretty good tires, good wear pattern, etc., even at 24k miles. The only real complaint that I have is the SelfSeal. It doesn’t like to hold up very well during these hot Texas summers, and have found myself having to put plugs in about a day or two after the initial puncture is removed. I think the SelfSeal is a great short term solution, but it definitely doesn’t last.

This tire came on my car ...

This tire came on my car 07 Hyundai Sonata and the tires and the car is I believe this is the quietest combination I have ever riden on. I got 55k miles on oem tires which I thought was very good, the handling was good I got into a few situations which required hard braking and an evasive manuver or two and was well pleased with the preformance.

Didn't live up to the mileage rating

The ride with these tires has been okay but they have worn out much too early. I have 36,000 miles on my 2014 Fusion and have less than six months remaining on my lease and was told I need new tires. I have driven normally for the 2.5 years I've had the car and did not anticipate buying new tires for the next user of the car as I plan on turning it in. I drive a winding back road to work everyday and don't put a lot of highway miles on the tires. I would not recommend these tires as wearing out in less than three years or the mileage on my lease is not an expense I would want to incur.
