My OEM tires on my Honda CR-V Hybrid needed replacement at 25k, and I researched all the tires that were recommended for my vehicle. The Destination LE3 and the "M" tires were rated virtually the same, but the LE3's were $300 less. Plus I had the Destination LE2 on my Nissan Rogue, and a friend had them on his Mazda CX7. The LE2's were fantastic, great wear, great performance, and very smooth. I felt the LE3 would be the same, if not improved. So far, I'm right.

So for reference I have awd but it snowed 12 inches overnight and many people were having a issues getting moving or turning and others having to abandon the vehicle where it sat in the snow but I had no issues (I did however use caution during stops and didn't have an opportunity to try and see how they handle abs kicking in but I'll update this when I do) also cannot tell if I've driven on ice as it doesn't kick out often so proceed with caution there

My first set of Destination tires had about 50k miles before I replaced them. They still had tread but were over 7 years old. My 02 explorer is a seasonal drive only so age of tire was starting to show. I just purchased my 2nd set of Destinations and couldn't be more pleased. Excessive road noise on my old Destinations grew louder with age. The new tires are so quite, my 20 year old explorer rides like new. The handling is precise and the vehicle tracks straight where I steer it. I could have purchased any tire but I'm glad I went with the new Destination.

I have driven the 8 hour trip from Ohio to South Carolina countless times and these tires are quite and smooth. I have had excellent control at high speeds through deep puddles (they aren't prone to hydroplaning), I have driven on muddy gravel hunting roads in the mountains of North Carolina and never had traction issues, I have gotten through up to a foot of snow with no issues, and never gotten stuck as long as I have had them. Overall I think they are a great tire if you want to have street tires that can get you through some occasional off road use. The only reason I rate the traction with four stars is because they aren't an all terrain tire and occasionally they slip on wet pavement in you try to accelerate quickly from a stop.

Well the tires are great! I did a lot of research. However, very disappointed in the morons that installed them. A couple of weeks after installation I noticed a strange feeling in the drive. I stopped at a different Firestone, closer to work, and they discovered some serious issues with the install. First, one of the wheels was almost ready to fly off as 3 of the 5 bolts that hold the wheel on were so loose they were doing nothing. Secondly, they removed all the tires and check the balance. 3 of the 4 tires were 1.5 oz out of balance. That is major! This Firestone place repaired everything, rebalanced the tires and sent me on my way with no charge. So, one bad Firestone experience was replaced by a good Firestone experience.

Certainly not the most expensive tire you could buy. But absolutely the best you can buy for value , longevity, reliability and performance. I have purchased these a total of 5 times for our 2 vehicles over the 9 years. I can't think of single time these tires disappointed me. Great tires all around!

Just got my LE3's for my Ram and oh my goodness what a difference from the Bridgestone's it came with. The truck always rode well, but it's better than new with the LE3's on it. The traction is much better along with the stability in corners. I'll be curious to see how they do in the rain. If it's anything like dry the traction, I'll be completely pleased.

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. Sounds better, rides better so far. Old tires had somewhere between 60,000 and 91,289 miles on them, were quite noisy, rode rough and were down to the wear bars. These new LE3's are quite an improvement. I guess time and miles put on will tell the real story.

This is my 1st purchase of Firestone Destination tires for my Traverse. I have always purchased Firestone or Bridgestone for my vehicles. My previous tires were Bridgestone Alenza for which I had a replacement tire that was the Firestone Destination. The performance and life of the tires are what sold me and the sales promotions! Firestone makes a good tire that lasts and backs them! It all comes down to the customer service after that and find you a good store that sells the tires and won't try to talk you into more than whats needed! Tires are great... stores and their associates not so much all the time.
