Confident Handling and Treadwear As Advertised

These came on the car when I bought it used, and I'm not sure how many miles they had then. But I've put 60,000 on them and they could easily go another 5k or 7k more. I kept them rotated and balanced every 5k or 6k miles, and I've had no issues. As for drive quality, they do very well in wet conditions. It is a firm riding tire so you will feel more connected to the road. As always, the more confident handling comes at the price of a soft ride.

Fantastic Tire!

My car came stock with 215/55R17 94H Nexen CP671s and the traction they provided was terrible. The tires were like hockey pucks, didn't provide any good levels of traction in bad weather. Decided to upgrade to the Premier A/S tire and wow what a difference. The ride is smooth and responsive and I feel safe driving on them. Had to emergency stop in the rain once and the car didn't loose traction at all! I have always had good experience with Michelin tires and now I doubt I will buy anything else. I was also late on putting my winter tires on and they provided enough traction in snow to allow me to feel safe driving on them.

Good Grip, Smooth Ride

I have only had these tires on for a week so I cannot comment on treadwear but in the week I have had them on I have driven on dry pavement, wet pavement and light snow. The tires performed well in all 3 conditions but is definitely not, nor is it meant to be, a winter tire. However, on dry and wet pavement performed exceptionally well (excellent grip and smooth ride). I find them slightly louder than the X-Ice Xi3 winter tires that were on it but nothing I can't live with. If treadlife proves good I would deinitely look at these again when needed.

Great tire but wear out in less than 1/2 miles

I put these on my 2012 Expedition after reading good reviews. After 22000 miles on the tires these were down to wear bars and I had a blow out. I went back to the Ford dealer where I bought and they said to buy another set. No warranty coverge disappointing Michelin as I have and my family have been long time customers.

Great Tires but not 60,000 miles

I did a lot of research before I bought these tires and they were as good as promised to start with, but now at 38,000 the tread is almost completely gone on two of the tires. The tires gave my 2008 Camry a smooth and enjoyable ride, I am disappointed that they have not lasted as long as Michelin said they would. I will be replacing them, and unfortunately, I will have to pick a different tire that may not give me the same smooth ride.Would buy them again if the mileage actually lasted the 60,000 as stated.

Excellent Tire, Quiet, High Gas Mileage, Smooth.

I am so happy with these tires! There are several reviews that claim drivers only got 38k or less miles on this tire. I wonder if these drivers had proper inflation, perfect alignment and what road conditions for which they were using these tires. My experience is the tire wore down after 58,334 miles. That is how many miles I drove before the ‘penny test’ failed. However, I could probably drive another 5,000 miles safely. Given that I do a lot of long distance and business driving, I decided to replace them before they completely wore out. Remember, these are touring tires meant for smooth, super quiet, luxury rides. If you are using these for strenuous driving, you’re better off with the sport edition. This is my personal experience and it’s possible that other drivers received defective tires or had them installed by a non-professional.

Michelin Premier A/S 215/55R1794V

I bought a brand new 2013 Lexus ES300h and it came with a set of 4 Michelin tires. This set of tires were worn out at about 30,000 miles so I went to my favorite local owned tire dealer and they sold me the Michelin Premier A/S 215/55R17 94V because my car requires a "V" rating set of tires even though the dealer recommended the "H" rating tires. I religiously rotate my set of tires every 5,000 miles. Right now I have been driving 23,000 miles and the tires are already worn out with little tread left. I will need a new set of tires before the winter comes.

We understand the Premier A/S tires on your 2013 Lexus ES300H did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Bad Tread Life

I have these tires on my 2021 AWD Pacifica. I was very disappointed to find out yesterday after 20,000 miles the tread is down to 3/32. I wasn't planning on new tires for Christmas, but I am not sure I am comfortable going through a central New York winter on these tires.

Only 33000 out of 60000 miles

I bought this 4 tires Oct, 2017 with 60000 miles warranty. I drove 33000 miles during last 4 year 10 months. The tires are completely out. To receive warranty, you have to rotates every 7000 miles. I rotated twice, about every $11000. This voided warranty.

Highly over rated tire with very poor tread wear/life

Purchased 7/2017 and rotated every 6k -7k. I have 28,000 miles on these tires and treadwear is down to 4/32. Still fine in dry weather, just ok in rain and unsafe in snow. Tires are on a 2005 Honda Accord 4 cylinder, not a sports car. Warranty claim opened with Michelin and we will see what happens.
