I purchased this item because they were OUT of the Members Mark fiber tablets, so I tried it. At first I noticed that I had to mix it vigorously to get it to dissolve and not clump, which was inconvenient. I bought Metamucil sugar free and it was too sweet, so I mixed the two and at about a 2 to 1 ratio of this powder and Metamucil I found that the flavor was perfect and that I no longer had a problem with clumping. I have since reduced the ratio to 3 parts Guardian fiber to 1 part sugar free Metamucil, and it is perfect. No more clumping, but the Metamucil begins to thicken up so I have to be conscious about how much time I spend mixing.

Horrible! Does not dissolve. Just floats in clumps.

In my experience it dissolves completely but is yellowish so the water I put it in is yellow too. There is a slight taste but barely noticeable but it is there. Benefiber was crystal clear and had no taste so that is what I would prefer.

It doesn't dissolve nearly as well as other fiber powders I have used. Turns into a sticky gummy mess. I add a little at the time while stirring and it still wants to lump up. Going to try and return it.

This product does look much like Benefiber. However, I find that it does not dissolve quite as well and will sometimes detect a bit of grittiness in my water. It also has a definite dusty taste when mixed with water. I don't detect it when mixed with coffee, though. I don't think I would purchase this brand again. There are other generic fiber powders that work better than this one.

This product is terrible. It does not dissolve like the name brand product (Benefiber). When you try to mix it in tap water, it will clump and not dissolve. DO NOT BUY. This is yet another BOMB of a generic by Sam's club like their bacon pieces which are nothing but fat.
