Very impressed so far!

I was a little leery about purchasing sight unseen, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality. It went together pretty easily and the directions were easy to follow. It seems pretty solid. We used it for a Memorial day cook out yesterday and it was pretty chilly. It gave off a good amount of heat. Clean up is pretty simple. brush the ash into the drawer and dump the drawer. Appreciate the convenience of the pellets (although the heater pellets are harder to find apparently in spring. Finally got some at Lowes.} The pellets are neat and clean, better for the environment (use up scrap wood and cleaner burning} and start up quickly and burn down quickly once you shut off the hopper. Compared to our fire pit, which takes awhile to get rolling and then you have to sit there until it burns down. The cover fits great, the hardest part is getting it over the top of the unit because it's tall. It seems like a pretty good quality cover, fits well and zips easily. I see us using it often, especially in the spring and fall, for a little bit of warmth to make the deck more usable earlier and later in the season!

Perfect for entertaining guests

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is great, it spreads the heat out far and is great when entertaining guests. There is no noise and just takes pellets to run. To store the heater it fits perfectly in the corner of my deck and was easy to move where I want it.

Efficient heater for the winter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So i got this to try out from influenster and it came just the right time. It was actually easy to assemble and only took me 20 minutes thanks to the instruction. I like that i can use my small branches from my yard in addition with the pellet. I was worried about smoke but the high chimney kept the smoke away. The lower burning area is perfect heigh for the lounge chair, and the heat level can be adjusted without having to get up. I was very surprise that there were very little ashes the tray made clean up a breeze. I definitely prefer this one over the gas heater, which broke as i moved it out to compare.

Great pellot heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is really great! For a while I've been debating getting an outdoor propane heater, but after getting this, I'm glad I didn't. Not only does it produce similar heating to the propane one, we can open the front and roast marshmallows with the kids if we want to. Highly recommend picking this up!

Purchase tanted by issues but good unit

During unpacking found side glass was broken. Assumed I would be able to have a new one sent. Upon assembly I found that the burner body and door were bent and unusable. Warranty dept was very friendly and helpful and did send new parts to replace all damaged ones. The only issue was that in order to fix the issue it required dis-assembly of the damaged unit and use parts off it to 'build' the new one. I'm not happy that I had to spend about (3) hrs of my time to do this to my 'newly' purchased item. What I discovered during this process most all the damaged was done 'before' the powder coated surface was put on. The reason I say that is that there were 'NO' mares/scratches/etc on any of the parts that needed replaced. So obviously, this was assembled with damaged parts. On top of that, the assembler 'had' to force these parts together. Makes me wonder about the quality control. We bought our son the same unit and I was very impressed by the unit, but also had a piece of broken glass. Once he replaced the glass (via warranty) the unit works great. Kind of makes the purchase a little tanted. I think a little compensation offer would have been nice. Instead 'crickets'.
