I recently purchased this fine scotch at my local store and I have to tell you that I was a little thrilled to actually find it. The packaging for this fine scotch was a on the simple side for being such a nice flavorful scotch. This scotch and nice aged to perfection with hints of floral notes and very subtle pineapple flavor that hit the taste buds at the end of your swallow. It wasn't an over powering flavor at all which was nice because scotch shouldn't be over powered with other flavors. I would definitely put this scotch in my liquor cabinet. I think it would make a nice addition for mixed drinks or just as it is. Cocktail hour will be much better with this scotch in the mix. Definitely worth the buy for the price. The quality is mighty fine. 👌

Buchanan's Pineapple Whisky did not disappoint. On the budget end of the whisky scale, the packaging was much higher quality than most competitors, and definitely presents itself as a higher price point drink both in looks and in taste. While the bottle did take some getting used to for pouring (as it has this little ball in it that you have to tap out of the way for each pour), pleasant pineapple aroma and subsequent smooth taste was well worth the initial frustration. While I have only tried it straight and on the rocks so far (and I much prefer it on the rocks), I could see how it would be the perfect foundation for a mixed drink as well. Given the powerful pineapple scent, I was pleased the taste was not overpowering at all, and having not previously heard of Buchanan's, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this whisky, and will definitely be on the lookout for future Buchanan's beverages to try as well.

I was a bit unsure of this product since it's a Scotch/Whisky blend and I do not like Scotch. But I was very surprised as it is very smooth and has a citrus flavor with just a hint of smoke. There's no burning sensation or weird aftertaste. This is very refreshing and would be perfect on ice during the warmer months.

This is probably one of the best flavored whiskeys you can find. A little too sweet and syrupy to sip neat, but great as a shot or with ice. Great as a mixer and goes very well with a splash of Sprite or 7up. I took off a star because it's only 35% alcohol (70 proof), which is on the low side for a whiskey.

Let me start by saying that I love a good flavored whiskey/pairing so when I saw this I knew I had to try it. The pineapple scent comes out first with a very nice tropical note and it paired well with all the of sodas I have tried it with so far. Personally I wouldn't drink it straight or just on ice but that's just me. I did find that the pineapple flavor came out more when mixed with drinks than any whiskey flavor did so I liked that. The packaging is nice from the outside but I will say the aerator cap is constantly getting stuck and preventing a pour until you shake it while tilted over a glass and that's pretty inconvenient.

Wow, I've seen reviews for this and so I was skeptical. People either loved or or hated it. I'm not a big whisky drinker. I think I've just never had a decent whisky. Just tasted too much like old cigars too me. Lol. I was intrigued by the pineapple. Well, it was DELICIOUS. The pineapple flavor comes through nicely and it smells divine. I haven't used this to mix yet but I fully look forward to it.

Not a typical scotch person but this Pineapple blew me away. Excellent bottle shape and label to impress friends. Opening the bottle is like heaven to your nose, giving notes of pineapple and vanilla. Price point is just right for the bottle size. Would recommend to any pineapple whiskey lovers out there. I like it neat. Incentivized.

Truly surprised at how *mixable and drinkable this was - as a Scotch drinker and pineapple lover, I have never thought to put these two flavours together but WOW! It's a fantastic "end of summer/start of fall" mixer. And doesn't taste like cough syrup, unlike many other flavoured liquors. Update: still haven't gotten paid for the tasks and now the program is asking me to claim the program again.
