Good grow light, but not for long

I bought this to use as a grow light for seedlungs, just for 3 months out of the year. Turned it on for year two and heard a pop and now the light has a crazy flickering that drives my eyes crazy. Not usable like that. So as others have said, these lights really don't last.

Alert: Metal housing gets warm

This Westinghouse shop light is economically priced. However, the top metal housing gets warm. Find it worrisome as a safety risk. Previous Sam's Club shop light brand does NOT get warm. Also, previous brand had flush link connector for continuous lighting which provides a very streamline appearance. This Westinghouse model does not.

Wouldn't want any brighter shop light

After fretting over whether I should buy a brighter shop light, I decided to see what 5000 lumens looked like by installing this light. And I'm glad I did - trust me, you don't want anything brighter unless it's mounted really high. It *almost* hurts to look at it.

Great product at an even greater price! Purchased a similar product with less lumen months ago for more than twice the price at a local depot store. Our second shop light needed replaced several months later and we were looking for something less expensive. I came upon this product quite by accident. The basement is now much brighter. My only regret is I didn't find this product first!
